I love how all the NPCs look like they're actually people and not just models that walk around. I mean, they all appear to be doing something different. I wonder how well this will run on consoles and PCs that aren't incredibly powerful
None of the big 3 won E3. Ubisoft did. They showed more games worth paying interest to than any other company. Microsoft turned it into a long set of adverts playing consecutively and told us too much we didn't care about. Sony ignored the Vita as if to say it's dead. Nintendo went and didn't show a particularly appealing launch line up for the Wii U. EA... well... they're pretty much the same as Capcom these days with their DLC habits. Ubisoft: GAAAAMMMESS, EVEEENN BETTERR GAMEES. That's more than can be said for the others.
@Blackarrow1020 My suggestion for it would be, if they must keep the forerunners as the enemy as opposed to some group that are interested in the forerunners, to at least give a subtle release of information through the story. Cortana blurting out that they're forerunners just doesn't sit well with me, it sounded like it was meant to be a shock, but it was entirely expected.
@BARC_Trooper So instead of caring about the single player of a game you'll focus on the minor, additionaly features? This is why CoD gets away with releasing the same thing repeatedly, because no one looks at the full game, just if it has the same stuff as the others.
Oh damn, seems people got pissed off by what I said before. My intention was to simply point out that this wasn't anything unexpected and that you wouldn't be getting anything particularly mind blowing in the story. If people think that no one should be allowed to generalise something into an overall synopsis of a few words then they should complain about scores and headlines for reviews first. Also bear in mind that the game isn't out yet, so I'm predicting, I haven't actually played the game.
Ooo Forerunners, they sure spent 2 minutes thinking up the story for this one. For a franchise that I loved for its story, doing exactly what fans expect to see is unforgivable, they should be making something of their own so no fan can say they "saw it coming from a mile away".
@AKALeeMG Most people are only using the homosexulaity as an excuse to pick at it. If there was none of the homosexual aspect then people would just complain about something else, and 90% of what they say would be crud.
There are obvious reasons for choosing to add a second screen to the console beyond the gimmick of the touch screen (which the PSVita also put in). That's not to say removing it would be a bad thing, it's simply that keeping it wasn't a bad choice either.
Ok, so it's entirely understandable that this should be the way things run, but when something like Skyrim which, ultimately, lacked a good level of polish, gets a 9 as its score, the thoughts behind the value of the 6s and 7s are put into relation of the 9. If a 9 is riddled with occassional bugs and glitches, then a 6 and 7 must be unplayable. Don't read this the wrong way, if all the reviews on this site were written by Tom (or any other singular GS staff member) then this problem would be much less pervasive, however the opinions on what a 9 is, what a 6 is an so on are so varied that what one professional would give an 8, another would give a 10, and another might even give a 3.
