Uh, the U.N its self doesnt actually have any say in any matters. They screwed up a good idea whan they made that whole "these countries can veto whenever they want to" rule. The U.S proposed sanctions, which of course, the rest of the world blindly followed.

EDIT: Anyone else remember Iraq? And how there never was a reason to go in? Yeah, maybe were doing the wrong thing again by letting this happen.....
