Yeah, I'm in the same boat when it comes to bottlenecking GTA 5, but it's CPU for me so I'm in the process of upgrading my i5 3470 to i7 4790K.

You definitely should go for a GTX 970 and avoid AMD.

Just ordered an Intel i7 4790K, Asus H97-PRO Gamer motherboard, Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo cooler and a Corsair Graphite 780T case!

My new PC is gonna be sexy as ****! I'll post pictures once it's all set up, probably in 2 weeks given the delivery times and I'll be quite busy in the coming weekend.

Why a K processor without a Z mobo?

It has a higher clock than the standard version. I'm not planning to overclock anyway, so it does not matter.

Even the PS4 wouldn't be able to run Crysis at 1080p.

I'm wondering if I should upgrade the CPU when I noticed my CPU usage averages at 95% of load when playing GTA V by looking at Performance Monitor in Windows.

I have an i5 3470 and a GTX 970. I looked at benchmarks for my beast of a GPU and they are looking better than what I'm getting... Do you think my CPU is holding the performance back as a bottleneck? The game nearly maxed my CPU out at 95% average.

What do you guys think?

WTH? It's 2013 again?

Consoles are irrelevant. This is a completely new game.

Thank you consolites for beta-testing this for us. This version sounds like an excellent port.
