Sure some rumors have merit, but I'm still not deciding what to do until the product is shipped. Even with an announcement of what the system will do, it may need to change last minute for proper release. In the end my dollar will go to where I feel the best place.
@Aria1368 I think it's mostly because they provide you a small experience out of the box (60$), and then aks you to buy a season pass for 20$, and DLC comes with season pass, but that skin on the gun to make you an individual costs another 2-5$. Yeah I would say they are profit makers.
I won't pay for the "Extra", infact I had COD MW2 but with the first DLC pack at 15$ for 3 new, and 2 reskinned maps. I traded in the game, and will never go back. but I'm only one person out of 5-10million that will not leave.
It seems a little sad that at 3.4 million units sold is a failure. In this day and age that still seems, and feels like a success. I was on the fence for this game, but I am so glad I picked it up. Same goes for Hitman. They have been great games for me, and the MP is not needed in most cases if I was asked.
I want to see SquareEnix do what they do, and do it well. It's too bad that the industry has to use COD, and whatnot to compare all games too. Many a person does not play those games, and many a sheep will pick up with all the DLC, and season passes for that shiny new gun in game.
Favorite moment for the PS3 was Uncharted 2. The commercials with the wife sitting down to watch her boyfriend play it in the commercials was awesome. And exactly what my wife did when I brought it home. She would sit on the couch, and watch me play that game for a couple of hours a night.
Well maybe 20 minutes, or so before she was sleeping on the couch. She tried.
I was hoping for a better combat system. Even hit detection needs to be ramped up. She looked like either hitting a droid through the chest, or hitting a droid about 6 inches away. 3 hit combos are cool, and all, but if I have to sit through a ton of enemies like the third video, I want something moe than punch face, punch gut, double push to abdomen, poll vault over the enemy repeat.
The memory part was what got me intrigued at first, but with the fighting portions of this game, I think it will be forgettable. I see this in the bargain bin right away.
Everyone talking about next gen. I have a feeling that the systems won't be this year still. I have the feeling that they will be looking to bring them out the following year. As far as GTAV is concerned, like all of their games, they come out when they come out. I'm just happy to see one soon.
I work at a business with 2 women. One is an administrative assistant, and the other is the accounting exec. Looking for a few new hires in the business, and there were a few women who applied, they were interviewed, and seen as great candidates for the job, but the 2 women in the office already did not want them hired. This was their business, and they wanted to be the only females in the business. (It is a small 10 person business) I have seen it more often then not the women in the office wanting less women there. It is just sad that we men are getting blamed 90% of the time.
I am hoping that this game will fit the hype I have seen over the last 2 months. I pre-ordered, nad am looking forward to this game, so be good! (crossed fingers)
Yep this is a new system, and it will not gather dust on my shelf. I probably won't even pick it up for at least a year. I got the Wii out the gate, and played it for about 2 months, and it has a foot of dust on it while sitting in the corner.
