they probably released all those old NES games rather than a lot of the N64 titles you mentioned because of their smaller size and they're just easier and cheaper to emulate. besides, stuff like banjo kazooie cant be released because Rare is now owned by microsoft. i'll agree there are some crucialgames they should release though

not sure where this should go, guess it could go in any nintendo forum, but what's happened to donkey kong games? he used to be nintendo's most-selling mascot back in the SNES games (saving the system from being totally owned by the genesis) but he hasn't had a game of his own (that I know of) since donkey kong 64. all we've had are spinoffs like diddy kong racing, mario vs donkey kong, and that bongo game for the cube. so does anybody know if Nintendo's got plans for another DK game? you'd think they'd wise up and cash in on such a sucessful franchise.

i dunno about you guys but I theres a ton of older games on the DS that I havent even played. If you're like me, you've got a pretty big back catalog of games to explore while waiting on the next big releases. I'm still playing old stuff like mario 64, and there's a ton of GBA games I'd still like to play. as far as living in the UK, i live in south america where it's way harder and more expensive to get video game stuff, so there are ways to get whay you want, without it being too expensive. and as far as the DS getting stale, I still see plenty of interesting things down the line. zelda, dragon quest, ff chocobo tales and revenant wings, spore (this could be great), guitar hero (confirmed?), theme park, and plenty of other obscure releases we still dont know much about. obviously not all of these will be stellar titles but there's gonna be some good ones no doubt.

when I bought OOT years ago I think I was kinda the same way, I thought it was too hard and after my friend walked me thru the first dungeon it gathered dust as all I played was pokemon. after I picked it up again I was obsessed tho, same with majora's mask (except that thing gathered dust for YEARS before i ever got into it). but then again I'm like that with a lot of games. in the end, tho, OOT is one of the, if not the, best game ever made, don't let graphical preferences get in your way on that one

Im getting a new DS game and I was wondering what to get. Im considering Meteos, Resident Evil DS (never played the original), or Castlevania (Dawn of Sorrow because it's cheaper). There are other games I'd like to get but I chose these because they're all sub-$20 (games are frickin expensive these days! and I don't have a job or anything). I'd like a puzzle game like Meteos (everybody says its better plus its cheaper than Tetris) since I don't have one but I think a portable Resident Evil would own and I thought about Castlevania just because everybody says its great. whaddya think?

a well-done RTS, since the stylus and touch controls could mimic a mouse pretty well.

the DS is definitely capable of more 3D graphics, and it would be nice to see them on more games, but definitely not all games. 2D graphics are more suitable to certain kinds of games and art styles than 3D, like children of mana, beat-em ups, etc.

charmander and tyranitar. charmander because he's the first pokemon I ever had and tyranitar because he's the strongest pokemon I ever trained (level 76 with no rare candies--he kicked a$$)Crimson_flame88
oh and umbreon too, just cause it took me forever to evolve that thing...sadly i lost all these though when the battery in my pokemon silver cartridge died and I can't save games anymore :(
