Okay, a while ago I bought a copy of MegaMan Battle network Gregar, and I have had problems with it from the start. It wasn't backwards compatable so I had to bust out the GBA, it worked, but it was glitchy as hell, most of the time it freezes ( I haven't been able to play past the intro fight). Then I looked at the label, instead of just having the normal title label it has the title to the left and the games main character lan hikari on the right. It says it's for the usa but I can't find an image of it online so my question is what the hell is this variation? Has anyone seen this before?

I appreciate any info if anyone has any.

The file shouldn't be ina folder, as opposed to something like a theme file.

Okay, sorta new to the ps3, is there a way of putting movies on the ps3 that is as simple as creating file folders that the ps3 will recognize and putting movies in it? I was able to use the divx converter for one but no other video was recognized by the ps3 after going through the process so I amlooking for a different method. Also, please don't mention video9, i've downloaded it but dont wanna wait for the convertion time.

Thank you both for your willingness to help, nothing I read before said anything about having to need to format the harddrive beforehand, but now I seem to have gotten it to work, it is formatting as I write this message.

Wait, so did you have to format the drive to FAT32 on your PC or PS3?

It need to be formatted for FAT32, you can do it with disc utility on a mac as well, just make sure you choose to format it for windows

It formatted fine, no problems. Though for some reason I only have access to 412gb of the 465gb but after all this crap I'll take what I can get, it is still more space than I'll probably need anyway.

1) is the new HDD formatted in FAT 32?

2) you can find the update on the Playstation site, use a thumb drive

TheTenth10
1.) I didn't format it to FAT32, as I had read that the ps3 would format it. 2.) If I download the update, on a thumb drive would I need to make special folders for it like I do when I load themes into the machine?

Okay, I switched out the HD in my ps3 with a new bigger one and kept getting the mssg "plug in the controller with the usb cable and press the ps button" I have a 3rd pary controller (it has a home button, same function) but nothing happened. so I plugged in a ps controller with the usb adapter it tells me that it can't find update 4.31 and to plug in a usb device with the update.

Argh! Can anyone tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong?

Keep in mind from wht I have read the ps3 is supposed to recognize and reformat the harddrive, is this incorrect?
