I can only assume that a major part of the reason gaming is seen as a world of childish idiocy is any game related comment section. I don't even mean the comments around grown folks topics in gaming, which are somehow extra horrible, just any run of the mill gaming article or video's comment section. @West123 Not serious, just an only child. If you have to be your own entertainment all day, you'll get pretty in-depth with your scenarios. Also, I was on to girls early. Real early. I got in a "fight" in kindergarten because some dude had his arm around my "girlfriend." Thankfully, I also outgrew sucker moves like fighting over girls early too.
