Read again: it's a woman's apartment everyone! Yeah, i noticed the high hell shoe in the bathroom.

However, I bet there are messier places. I'm sure a quick search will turn up something even worse... ;)

As an atheist I celebrate it based on tradition. It is a major deal in my family, so why shouldn't I celebrate a time to get together with my family?

Yep, atheist here, and I do the same thing. If those damn anal religious nuts feel like we're not allowed to have fun during a holiday they themselves stole, then they'll probably feel better if we called it something else. I don't care if they rename it Winter-Gift-Happy-Day, I'll still do the same thing.

They're funny that way. Just like homosexual marriage, they want it called "civil union" or some crap. They're fine with it, even if it's exactly the same thing, but with a different label. Like these ideas are theirs by right.

I'm trying several websites tonight, and many of them seem to be down. Is anyone else getting this problem? It's about 1:30 am here on pacific time. even "downforeveryoneorjustme.com" seems to be ironically unavailable. Thanks.

Hello, just want to put in my two cents.

I purchased the PSP when it first came out. Nice, stylish, getting comments from everyone... but the system was pretty much an underpowered PS2, with a crappy battery life. All the games available are better played on your home console, enjoyed as it was meant to be enjoyed. Even the ports felt stiff, and the controls on the PSP were way too fragile to be satisfying for me. It wasn't long before I made up my mind and traded it in for the DS. Best move I ever made.

And don't be fooled -- there are plenty of games, and a wider variety of them, to keep even this 29 year old entertained.

Did everyone become an EA supporter overnight? It shows me as being the only one concerned (out of over 900 votes) about EA's takeover of Take-Two. Most people voted that EA's acquisitions aren't detrimental to development/franchises.

This is obviously an episode of the Twilight Zone, and I'm caught in a world where people are buying redundant copies of Madden rather than feed their kids.

Yeah, but Half-life is still the better game :)w7w7w7w7w7

Nice to see you've already played through Crysis, and can make that statement.

If you're running an nVidia GPU, there is a new Beta release of a driver on their website.

  • Beta driver for GeForce 6, 7, and 8 series GPUs.
  • Recommended driver for Crysis single player game demo.
  • Several game and application compatibility fixes. Please read the release notes for more information on product support, features, driver fixes and known compatibility issues.

It was released just yesterday, and I've downloaded the 169.01 version for my Vista. Not sure about XP, but you should look. Hope this helps.

Yeah had the same exact problem on my machine. Installed it, but had no trace of the install. Went to the game folder, and tried to launch, but it just crashed back to the desktop.
