BUHAHAHAA! I pre-ordered mine on launch with no idea it would be so hard to find one after.

I lolled in the queue when I went to pick it up and heard the guy in front of me trying to find out if the another store had nunchuks 250km away! Meanwhile I just stepped through the line and got my wii with all the trimmings.

Kind of ironic since its mostly been gathering dust up until the beginning of this year.

Yeah i know what people are saying about it being cutesy, but Blizzard can do what they like there and it wont bother me.

It would suck to lose something that has been a part of the gameplay for so long (light radius). However most people dont understand that and the complaints about lighting get caught up in complaints about the art style. Hence why I asked if anyone actually knew anything about diablo......

From what I gathered the problem wasnt so much the colours or the art, but the fact that there was no lighting radius which has always been a part of diablo. Maybe its still there, but in the clip inside the dungeon you could see all the monsters on the screen. Its like playing doom 3 minus the darkness.

In conclusion, I think your post is completely devoid of humour. It sounds like you just want to be a blogstar or something.

Sometimes I forget how much of an international audience Gamespot has picked up in recent years. A little perspective goes a long way. Obviously my $5 problem doesn't even compare to the prices the people in Europe, Australia, and other places have to deal with. Though in your case I think part of the problem is that you guys get murdered on sales tax but don't have to pay any income tax, correct?Archon_basic

unfortunately no, here in Oz we get slugged with income tax as well. Theres actually quite a lot of debate over why games cost so much here, but sadly noone is able to come up with a price breakdown so we cant identify any reason. Heh, and like you say, as bad as we have it here, Im sure there are even worse. I cant imagine the gaming scene in Tuvalu is very vibrant.
