It was a little embarrassing even for me watching the Nintendo E3 press conference because it looked like they were desperately trying to sell this crazy idea that a tablet built into the controller is somehow going to revolutionize the way we game and solve problems that don't even exist! I never heard of any domestic disputes over the family fighting for TV time. Most homes these days have a TV in every room so you hook up the Wii U to the TV in your kid's room or rec room instead of the main living room. No need for a tablet controller where you can switch to playing your game when someone else wants to watch TV. And I know this feature is going to cost a lot of money and it's a waste. I just wish Nintendo had put the money into the darn console hardware itself. It's going to take nothing short of a graphics revolution to get people's attention to buy new consoles this time. The current gen consoles are powerful enough to support pretty much any developers vision for a game. I just don't see where Nintendo can go with this.

Ever hear of Evochron Mercenary? I recently saw this advertised on Steam. It's a seamless space exploration/combat/economic game that looks a bit like Wing Commandar and Eve but more fast paced than Eve. YOu can do anything you want or go anywhere in the game from star systems to inside a planet['s atmosphere with no loading screens. I am thinking of giving it a try after I'm done with Empire Total War.

Yeah I dont' know whats up with my Wipeout download, it came in 3 parts but I can't find it anywhere after it's downloaded. Oddly enough 1 of the parts is the demo, the next is an addon then a unlock back. WTF?

I hate to rub salt in the very sore wounds of Sony or kick them when their down but honestly is this the best they can do is offer this crappy game? I don't know how it got decent reviews. The game looks like rotten grated turd! I'm ashamed to play this on such a powerful system. But it's not just the graphics, the gameplay is boring and has all been done before. It seems like a totally ripoff of GTA except your playing the role of some pseudo super hero instead of just a cool, normal guy. Oh well, I hope my 2nd game choice Wipeout HD was a better one.

I'm a bit puzzled as this has been an issue for many years on this site. After I log into my account on this site it will stay logged in when I return to the site as long as too much time hasn't passed. I'm not sure how long but it seems like if I don't visit the site for 2-3 weeks it erases my login info and I have to do it all over again. This is not an issue on other sites I have accounts with and I have not deleted any cookies/IE settings.

I don't quite get why people complain about game prices. Back in the N64 days those games cost $90-120 CDN, that's still a lot in USD for that time. But for many years the majority of new games are $59-69 but if you wait 6 months to a year to buy, the same game often costs half that price. So you can definitely game on the cheap. Online PC game downloads often have great deals too. You can also borrow from friends which is completely free unless your friend is a jerk and charges you.

I don't even want a next gen system, Why not wait until the tech has really advanced much further so the next one will really blow us all away? 2013 or 14 might be a good time.
