Wondering about Destiny 2. Add more locations, more classes, bigger skill-trees and I'm in. I got a good couple hundred hours out of the first one but when i burned out i burned out HARD. Oh- and they really need to add starfighter combat a-la Halo Reach. I think even many people that didn't like Destiny 1 would agree that the POTENTIAL for greatness exists in the sequel.
Please, anyone who never played this game/series needs to give it a shot. This trilogy is really on the list of "should play regardless of interests". All the dlc is quite good as well.
The heat is what jumped out at me in this article..... and that's not a bad cooler, either. I have an i7-6700k running at factory clock speed and my phanteks air-cooler keeps that thing ice cold.... I dunno, when it comes to computers heat is either concern 1 or 1a for me. Those temps would rather frighten me a bit.... especially considering that there are a TON of acceptable cpus at the moment. As for people saying they wished cpus would evolve quicker..... i'm happy about the recent leveling out. One less potential upgrade thus one less expense.
Wow. People are way too worked up about this.... however: defending a game that HAS NOT YET COME OUT is really, really stupid not to mention intellectually disingenuous. And no, a demo does not give enough of a slice of a game to judge..... I've played terrible demos of great games and vice versa. Think, people. Use your head as something other than a hat rack.
It certainly is a good time to be putting together a budget build. This whole generation of GPUs is pretty sweet.... especially if you have a monitor that doesn't go above 1080. Maxing out recently-modern games in 1080 is so crazy affordable. If i wasn't currently thrilled with my gtx970 I'd be all over just about any of the new cards.
Cool. I'll buy one sooner now. Food for thought- the democratic party was the party of slavery and jim crow. Just because they had had a "republicans are racist" pr campaign for decades does not make it so. It just means a lot of people are easily influenced by advertising. Look at the most run-down cities in the US: all COMPLETELY run by democrats for decades. And I'm not a republican- they suck too- just usually not as bad as democrats. Example- remove republican-run Texas from the stats and the us economy has lost a TON of jobs over the last 8+ years. Research multiple sources- don't just blindly believe what the gov't tells you.
@StonerDemon: not only the SMT games.... there are TONS of cool rpgs for the DS and 3DS.... if you like deep rpgs getting a 3ds or 2ds is a good idea. I got one about a year ago and have only scratched the surface of all of the great rpgs that are available.
Sony did the PS+ thing right.... even if they don't give out any more good freebies- it's still worth the yearly cost to continue playing on the MASSIVE backlog i've accrued over the last 2 years. I must still have 40+ games i didn't have time to play. Just started Pupeteer today and WOW is that a neat concept
