I never could stomach the fact that in Doom 3 you could not shoot while having the flashlight on. Really cheap game mechanic and just plain ridiculous.

Some free DLC is included in all ME2 copies, as long as you don't buy it second hand. Specifically, you can download an extra character (Zaeed Massani, the bounty hunter) and some Cerberus ordnance (a shotgun for sure, I don't remember if there was something more). All other DLC you gotta pay for.

Dragon Age includes a suit of armor for ME2.

apparently you want your "best game in the world" to be a 360 exclusive.

Sloan360

None of the games listed are exclusive to the Xbox and even if they were, that is besides the point. He just happened to have played most of them on Xbox.

A persistent MMO will be very very hard to kill. Runescape is still alive. Ultimate Online, which some new gamers these days would have never heard of, is still alive.. sort of. GhoX

There are still people playing Ultima Online?! Seriously? :shock:

Well, this one looks decent too. What bothered me about the demo was having to wait 5 minutes for a match that lasted 10 minutes each time. Of course that doesnt have to do anything with the game itself. I enjoyed the matches I played even if it was this meaningless deathmatch mode. I say meaningless 'cause I reallly hated killing and being killed by players of the same species. Funny thing is some guys of the same species would often let you walk by unharmed, some sort of camaraderie perhaps? :P Or most likely an indication that most people would have preferred the demo to be on team-deathmatch mode.

What put me off in the beginning was the graphics, seemed so dark and boring at first. Then I started feeling like they actually contributed to the whole claustrophobic atmosphere. Still, I guess there's a lot to be argued about the graphics, I guess a lot of people are going to pass up the game because of them. For me the bottom line is that, while I did have fun with the demo, I'll wait for the reviews to decide whether I'm getting AvP or not.

I think the most interesting thing about achievements is they function as a sort of record for your gaming history, showing at a glance which games you spent the most time with. I'd never bother completing the achievements of a game I didn't enjoy a lot.

[QUOTE="C_N_R"]

It's you two smartasses (DamianAlexander and DranzarTypeF) that should look up the word "holocaust".

DranzarTypeF

Umm no you cannot blame us for misinterpreting what he meant, there are TWO definitions for Holocaust, not ONE. The most common form people recognize this word in is the event that took place with during the second WW, so it is not unnaturally that we get the wrong idea of the way he used the word. -an act of mass destruction and loss of life (especially in war or by fire); "a nuclear holocaust" -Referred to by many as the mass murder of Jews under the German Nazi regime from 1941 until 1945.

I'm blaming you for laughing at the guy and patronising him while clearly you did not know what "holocaust" meant. Otherwise you wouldn't have misunderstood him in the first place.
