Thanks a lot guys, Yeah the only thing it could be is that it was just fixed by chance or something happened while I was transfering stuff. but compared to the elite console and what it used to be, it is making a lot more noise so not sure how long it will last.

Ok this is something that greatly confuses me and I'm looking for anyone that would know what just happened. Anyways about 4 days before mw2 came out my xbox decided to stop spinning disks properly and would not read them at all. Customer support said I would have to send it in and pay 115$ to get it fixed, so I said frig it and put it in my closet and went out and bought an elite because I wanted a bigger HD anyway. Now just today My elite console suffered the EXACT same problem as my older console. But luckily I have a 3 year futureshop warrenty on this one and I took it in about 5 hours ago for them to send it away.

Now while I was at futureshop I decided to buy a 8GB flash drive to use for the new USB storage add-on to 360's. and when i got home I decided to pull out my old xbox to see if anything had changed....Nope it still wasn't reading any disks but dashboard and arcade games were still working fine. So I said hey why not start to transfer stuff from my 20GB HD to the 120GB HD while I'm waiting for my elite to come back because I was still using my 20GB on my elite because I did not have a transfer cable.Once I had everything transfered over to the 120GB HD i had noticed that my older console was making a bit more noise. So I said HEY, why not try, So I chuck in MW2 and bang! It starts right up....I was like WTF! Now this is where I'm lost, I just sent away my elite for the same problem for which I bought in the first place for the same reason and now the original console is working fine. It works with both the 120GB HD and 20GB HD harddrive in it and the 120GB HD has all the files that the 20GB used to have. So can anyone at all please give me somewhat of an idea of what has happened and when my elite gets back I'll have 2 working xbox's to use but I dont know if I can sell my first one because of the fact I don't know how long it will continue to read disks as I have no Idea what happened.
