In 3 seperate regions, I create a city, build it up with the idea that this main city will support future cities.  But everytime, I'm unable to send my other cities financial gifts, police support, fire support etc.  For instance, I'll send the 2nd city $100,000, I'll see it in my budget that I sent them 100k.  I'll then wait about 2 minutes for the truck to come from my 2nd city, pick up the git and drive back and confirm that I've gifted the money.  However, When I load my 2nd city, the money has disappeared.  No record of it in the budget.

Is anyone else having problems like this?

Thanks in advance for all responses.

no purchase...its basically impossible to evade now...sadly, ill pass on this game...i was so upset i had to make a thread about this in case anyone enjoyed WFC like me...this game is much worse.

I completely agree. The War for Cybertron was amazing, not sure why they went ahead and dumbed it way down. This game a just a horrible version of the first one. Also... why did they feel the need to nerf stealth so much - it lasts all of 5 seconds now. Used to last a lot longer and there were no balance issues. Definitely not buying this piece of garbage, if you like the fast paced, strategic gameplay of the first one, don't get buy this. If you want a slow paced dumbed down version - this is the game for you.

Just something I've always been curious about, especially since it seems like Thursday or Friday would be a better day for game releases.

I usually buy 1-2 games a month, but I was looking at the upcoming games for pretty much all systems... and there's nothing. But then in June like 5 games are coming out. Why not spread the love a bit eh publishers.

The good games are:

Fight Night Round 4

Batman: Arkum Asylum

Red Faction: Guerilla

Sims 3

Prototype

If I've overlooked a game please let me know, as of now seems like a wasteland for the next 8-10 weeks.

And please don't say Bionic Commando, that games going to be horrible.

Best: MGS4

Worst: Resistence 2, not because it was a bad game, but because it was a huge let down. R2 was one of the reasons I bought ps3 because it's one of the 4 exclusive games ps3 has going for it (kz2,mgs,lbp,r2) and it was pretty awful; from plot, graphics and online multiplayer. All were sub-par in my opinion.

Killzone 2, I'm not bad at it, I'm a 3 star general and am usually in 1st or 2nd place, but... some of the mechanics make me hate it. Having 2 spawn points on top of each other, turrets getting headshots from 100 yards away, being the "best" multiplayer game for ps3, I thought it was horrible.

Might wanna hold off on getting one. Rumors of a price drop are everywhere. From $50 to $100 drop. Of course Sony won't confirm because it would affect sales, but I would guess in another week or two we'll hear something.

Halo Wars is pretty much the simplest Strategy game you will ever play. If you're really interested in playing a strategy game don't play this one; as in my opinion, it's also the worst strategy game I've ever played.I love Halo 1-3, but Halo Wars is god awful. Read my full review This is the one case where I think most professional reviews only gave it a good score because it carries the Halo title (lucky Gamespot wasn't biased by this fact and gave it around what it deserved; a 6.5)

It's like; imagine that Bikini Samurai hack and slash game that came out a couple weeks ago and got a 2.5... now simply turn those character models into Star Wars, Matrix, Lord of the Rings, etc character models and the rating for the game will go 4 to 5 points.
That's exactly what this game is, a piece of garbage in terms of actual strategy, but it has the Halo Theme around it.

If you want to give strategy games a try; I would suggest Dawn of War II (Best strategy game I've ever played, only for PC) or for something a bit easier but still good to play with a great plot and lots of units; you could try Red Alert 3 or Tiberiam Wars. Both are for 360 and PC.

I have a 2 year old Alienware m5500i laptop.

The specs are Intel Core 2 CPU t5500 @1.66GHz processor

with 1 GB of Ram

an ATI mobility Radeon X1400 with 256mb video card

and a DvD Rom

The minimum specs for RA 3 are:

Minimum System Requirements Disk Drive : DVD Rom Drive (8X) DirectX : 9.0c

Hard Drive Space : 6 GB Free (12 GB Free for EA Link Version)

Operating System : Windows XP/Vista (32-Bit)

Processor : Pentium 4 @ 2 GHz/AMD Athlon 2000+ (2.2 GHz/AMD Athlon 2200+ on Vista)

RAM : 1 GB

Video Card : nVidia GeForce 6800/ATI Radeon X1800 or later

My processor is below the 2GHz recomended, but since I have 2 of them will that compensate?

And also the video card is a x1400 not the x1800 and above.

So my question is: Will Red Alert 3 run on my computer?

At the least I would like to play it even with all the graphical options set to minimum.

Thankyou for all responses to this.
