[QUOTE="Shinobishyguy"][QUOTE="charizard1605"]NO. The possibility of competition should always exist. A Nintendo monopoly in the handheld market will be very detrimental for me as a consumer.Shockwave-DASHthey pretty much had a monopoly all the way up till the DS. Not a single handheld lasted more than a few years against them Actually a lot lasted more than 3 years against them. That's why they countered with getting dev rights and games on their consoles, without competition, Nintendo will no longer try and we will be playing "Rub the cats Tummy 3D" or "Mario jumps on a cat to reach the kitty litter 3D" or "DStimals, TIger edition."
Really want to play that game now, if it came out on the Vita you would be able to rub the cat from the back and front.....
My inside source at Microsoft tells me the 720 will certainly be the most powerful gaming device ever concieved more so after they developed a new 12 core cpu for it that will be in matched.
I some what agree Nintendo main competion in the market is apple but at the same time most people dont really take games on apple devices seriously since they dont have much going for them as far as depth and dont have the same kind of production values that they would have if they were released on a dedicated system. You people realise Iwata said he was scared of smart phones and wouldn't slack on the lineup for 3DS just because Vita disappeared right? Nintendo are battling to keep people away from smart phones so Vita being there or not is irrelevant.
Heck chances are next time Nintendo will just make a phone themselves.

It is looking ever more likely each gen that Nintendo dominates the hand held market and Sony now seems to just be running out of ideas no matter how much extra tech they put in their systems should they stop making handhelds though and concentrate on making home systems, since it may be a good move too with Sony just loosing money fast in general.
na he need a new look maybe shave too he looks like an 80's porn starFirst of all, there is no such thing as a "grown-up" console. Secondly, Nintendo never made M-rated games. And I hope you don't want Mario to "grow-up".
