It won't reach much of an audience judging from low Xbone pre-orders and lack of demand. It seems like the game could be dead on arrival if its not on the console everyone is buying (PS4). Very poor choice by EA and could end up putting Respawn Entertainment out of business.

XB1 is currently outselling the PS4 on Amazon.

1 version of PS4 sold more pre-orders in a day than Xbone has sold in nearly a month and that is not even counting all the PS4 bundles and these are the US charts. Xbone won't sell anywhere else.

Okay it feel behind a couple spots, this litterally changes all the time. Show me where it sold more in one day than in one month. This could mean the PS4 sold 5 more units than the XB1. The fact that Sony has sold out only mean Sony plans to have less inventory at launch.

Microsoft is adding dedicated servers for every game.  Live gameplay streaming.  Cloud processing  Gameplay upload.

Yet they arent raising the price of Live?

So what does this tell you?  It says you were paying for NOTHING during the 360 era.  All your money went straight into Bill Gates,  Steve Balmer,  and Adam Orth's bank account.

Seriously,  how can they add so much more and then charge the same?  Sony is charging because they're adding so much more.

So can Lemmings finally accept Live was a scam on the 360?

DarthaPerkinjan
XBL is MSRP for only 10 dollars more than it was for the Xbox. That price change came late in the the life of the Xbox 360. The typical sale price of XBL is around 35 bucks so in reality it is 15 dollars cheaper on average. The cost of computing especially cloud computing goes down about 35 percent year. Amazon AWS the largest provider of cloud computing drops their about 25 percent a year. I am pretty well read on cloud computing if you want a lecture why it becomes cheaper each year let me know. This all means more for less. If it cost MS less today for a server than it cost them yesterday why would they charge more? BTW Gates is retired and trying to save the world right now.

I call BS. Why is steam free when it's lightyears ahead of everything else and super fast servers?

neo418

MP on Steam is hosted by the publisher or developer of game. The cost of the servers are basically cost of business to make people interested in the game. Steam is just a store not a platform. They have very little control of the online experience. MS and Sony produce the product that is being sold in someone else's store. Instead the people who make the game providing the servers to play the game online they do. It is a vastly different model.

But as it stands now companies like this have basically run the economy into the toilet.  Screw everyone else for our own gain.

I fully get what Microsoft does.  I'm just coming from a different place.

Celtic_34

No this not true. MS can sell their wares anyway they see fit, they are legally able to do that. Gamestop going out of business wouldn't hurt the economy other than the immediate loss of jobs but in 6 months that wouldn't be any issue. Current used game market doesn't help the consumer. The person who sells the games gets much less than they should, and the person who buy the game pays too much. The used car business is nearly as profitable as used games.

Software is software where is it a game or Word. I as someone who makes software to support myself, can decide how my software is used. I can create any terms I want. Once you buy my software and open the package you agree to my terms. No one is making you buy my software, that is your choice. When you buy a house, you have to live in it for one year before you can live anywhere else. So means not only you are not allowed to sell or rent it, you can't even move or buy a second home. (This of course is if you have a mortgage.) You made the choice to buy my software, you agreed to my terms of the sale, you have been informed before hand about the terms, you left your home and went to a store(or online) to buy the software of which you know my terms and therefore agreed to them.

I think they are going back to what made them beat Ps3 last gen. The games and Xbox Live interface.

Messiahbolical-

What advantages do they have over Sony now with the PS4 being built specifically to have the latest and greatest interface possible with multitasking in mind, downloading in background(or with the console turned off), live streaming, party chat, social gaming(even with single player games), etc... and Microsoft wont have the edge on 3rd party multiplats anymore either with the PS4 being built easy to develop for like a PC this time around with loads of fast ram, 8 core processor, and even another extra chip built-in made just for the OS/multitasking. And Xbox has never had an advantage over Playstation in terms of 1st party games, so you might as well just chalk that one up as a Sony victory. Seriously, I don't know what Microsoft can do to give the 720 an edge over the PS4 at this point. The PS4 basically fixes all of the problems Sony made with the PS3. It's hard to come up with legitimate complaints anymore. Microsoft might as well just go the casual route this gen like the Wii and focus on their Kinect technology, because I don't see what they can do to make the 720 have any advantages over the PS4.

Really? Since most 3rd Parties are Multiplat, all MS has to do is have a close to as powerful console at a cheaper price and people will play Madden and COD on it. People mock another Halo but Sony keeps trying to force the Killzone series. Killzone is just a not as good Halo-clone. When Killzone: Shadow Falls comes out, we would have had the privilge of playing 6 Killzone games. If they make XBL Gold like PSN+ by including free games and discounted content that would put XBL ahead of PSN once again.

MS's plan should be focus on hardware and price(the two major things Sony forgot to do) and they would have won the announcement war.

This is true. Those who professed another religion or faith were miniscule in the colonies. Still, religion was never mentioned in the Constitution other than that there would be no religious test. Also, "Under God" was added to the Declration of Indepdence during the 1950s and "In God We Trust" was added after the horrors of the Civil War, to show the unity of this country.

leviathan91

You are incorrect. Under God is not in the Declaration of Independence. How ever ther are many mentions to God and the Creator. The Founding Father were deist beleiving in a God but not in religion. They never intended to have a Godless country. The Pledge was created after the Civil War, and Under God was added in the 50's to avoid soudning Marxist. The hand on your heart part was added to be less Nazi-like.

LA would probably get two teams an expanion team and either the Jags or the Rams, if it was the Rams St. Louis would probably be inline for another team in a few years. They probably would not expand into Toronto out of respect of the CFL which the NFL has already stripped of talent because of the salary disparity that was not there 30 years ago.
