I liked some DLC that actually adds a lot to the game, like in GTA. GTA IV was a complete game by itself and fine without the DLC.

But in general I liked expansion packs back before DLC, those actually offered tons of content, compared to DLC nowadays is for stuff that should've been part of the game before for free. Stuff like extra clothes, weapons, little bonuses, modes and maps were all unlockables back in the day, now they offer the extras as DLC's instead as part of the package you pay for. The industry will only get worse, slicing off parts of games that were available for free before and making you pay for them as they are 'extra' and call you 'entitled' if you complain, when those parts were commonly part of the game in the past. In the past, developers would really put in the effort to put in extras and polish everything to make the best game they could, when it wouldn't have really made a different in sales, but they did it because they wanted to create games for people to enjoy and take in their world and ideas and now they've found they can make more money by selling them aside.

MMORPGs

Reason is I played many of them, and they were all the same none the less, so pointless, and there's no PvP because you need to get strong first, gameplay is pretty much just click on monsters all day, do stupid quests like gather 10 of this which just requires you click more monsters, and then PvP isn't even fun once you've farmed forever and ever.

It's like you're a slave when playing MMORPGs, grinding and getting items, get more XP and gold and stuff, terrible multiplayer game, multiplayer games are about jumping in and killing dudes immediately, not right clicking weak monsters that don't really fight back.

And sport manager games, sports games are fun, but managing team rosters and looking at #s and stats, are you kidding me?

Get a Wii. There's nothing wrong with getting older games if your kids haven't played them before. About support, Wii services will still be up for years to come, even if there are no updates there's nothing wrong with that, the updates don't really do anything anyways. Yes the PS3 has more kid game selection now but definitely not anywhere as good as the Wii still, and I like the Move, doen't feel accurate.

Most people don't have killer surround sound systems or headphones to actually experience the full potential of sound. The average person is fine with their stock iPod headphones and lower than 320 kbps mp3 files. And most people these days have hearing damage right from a young age.

for ram Get 2 of these:

There are tons of cheap, fast CPUs to choose from these days, too many to choose, but here's a good one:

remember whatever CPU u get, the motherboard has to have the same socket as the CPU so find a motherboard with the same socket type or else the CPU won't fit in the mobo

Skyrim for sure

'Epic battle' against dragon with... 4 guards??

NPC with quest armed with only a knife tries to go after flying dragon, just keeps running against a fence, dragon kills him, quest failed

Endless glitches and exploits

Lame dragon fights, hack and slash with no skill

Annoying inventory and carrying capacity

Not that it's not fun and good still but I just expected much more, not because of all the hype but the reviews, how the hell is this a 9 or GOTY?

Epic RPGs like Kingdom Hearts

3D Platformers/Adventure like Jak (and Daxter), Sly Cooper, Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet & Clank

Simulation and Tycoon games, I remember they were so popular on PC, sadly they're all gone now. People love creating things, as evident from Minecrafts huge fanbase, and tycoon games allow you to make theme parks or malls or restaurants or whatever, there's so much room for great, unique new games, but tycoons just died

Car combat games
