I was with this game since roughly the beginning of the beta, a year now. Over the course of that time I did get sucked into building my arsenal and accruing warframes. Unfortunately, for the entire year of updates I nev... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
I jumped in a little after launch but was immediately impressed that my computer didn't crash and everything had a sensical flow and direction. A high level of organization that should be commended. The levels are beau... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
This is admittedly my favorite type of game. Sci-fi foreign. I like those quirky, poorly translated games with clunky user interfaces and indecipherable plots. I guess it's because I know there aren't going to be many... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
I have played HMM3, the one that is supposed to be the best in series, I actually had more fun with this one. The creatures are pretty tricked out here with some cool abilities. You will enjoy exploring the different... Read Full Review4 of 4 users found the following review helpful
When Halo says I caaan't, Section 8 says lets get it on! Giant metal hulks that smash puny soldiers, supertanks..
First let me explain the mild Halo bashing in my review. While I enjoy Halo, I am simply drawing attention to what I see as a common flaw. You have a game with a huge budget, tons of artistic development and promotion ... Read Full Review2 of 3 users found the following review helpful
I just finished the single player demo. This is after just finishing FARCRY too. Man have they done wonders with this graphics engine. I could not possibly have imagined a better implementation of concept than what th... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords
Plays like Gauntlet on steroids, funneled down dark passageways with over-powered weapons. The formula works, for me...
I have just played through the demo and found it to be just what the doctor ordered. You'll probably need a refill on your prescription though, by the time you finish. The graphics are really clean and the game as a wh... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Don't kid yourself, this is the very epicenter of the heart of the artichoke that is pc gaming. Hark unto my words.
Where to start to convey to you the relevance of this title to your life ... hmmm...Well let me start by saying this game is not just for kids anymore. Though kids do love it. If you ever played psychbike or god knows ... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
As fun as any 3d fps I've played. I compare it to that because it delivers the same rabid intensity, only smaller.
You may not get it the first couple times you play. The weapons systems are fairly deep and require familiarity to enjoy completely as you need to know which weapons work on which types of maps and what secondary weapon... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Heads up corporate azzholes! Indie game terrorists threaten to blow pc gaming up by making games fun again!!
Viva la Revolucione!! Are you, my fellow gamer, sick of paying big bucks for over-hyped, big budget titles from corporate enterprises who have made all their game design decisions based on profit margins and conservativ... Read Full Review16 of 16 users found the following review helpful
I have to admit I love retro-style games. That funky, geometric flavor from yesteryear still rings true. You can jump right into this game and immediately you are immersed in a swarm of action. There are three differe... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
This game immediately made a good impression on me with dynamic gameplay and good looks. Its a winner in its class.
I am going to review this as it compares to similar games within its genre. I love games like this that use imaginative gameplay physics and exploit them for maximum effect. I compare this to games like Arclight and St... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Gaze not too long into the abyss lest the abyss gaze into you...This rabbithole runs deep, careful where you step. BEWA
Well, what is there to be said that hasn't already. Probably nothing. No comment on the single player. It is unimportant. If you play this game you need to experience the online community. Its huge and dedicated li... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
You can geek out pretty frickin hard on this retro-tastic masterpiece. Progress takes days though, so pack a lunch.
Dominions 2 is a solid strategic offering from the indie game continuum(check out shrapnel games and gametunnel). Its important for many reasons to support indie games and the primary reason would be that they are more... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Age of Empires III
If you know the "age of" series you've probably played age of conquerors and loved it. I play all types of games but for rts multiplayer aoc delivers something special. Its been modded out the wazoo, there's ... Read Full Review8 of 16 users found the following review helpful
Its obvious whoever made this game had fun doing it and that it was a labor of love. Why is it obvious you say? Perhaps because of its expressive quality and its epic sense of scale or perhaps simply because its, dare... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
