Definately go for the Bioshock games although thats less futuristic and slightly more steampunk they are great games then id move on to borderlands fallout those kinda games there the best ones i play

This is a great game ive had it since release and its one of the few slash style games i really enjoy (and no its not just cos of bayonetta herself though it helps) i still even prefer the style and play than that of the new DMC game .. didnt like that as much but im not much for reboots
gotta say this mechanic is one of my favorites in recent fighting style games. not so much the fisticuffs style but the flowing feel to the combat. i mean its very similar to the mechanic in arkham asylum but with tweaks.... if only they could have Incorporated that style into fist of the north star that would have been epic
not 100% sure if this fits youre criteria fully but 9 dragons is a great martial arts game there are several martial arts to choose and lots of quests that folow the story line but its more of an mmorpg than a normal game
I like this concept but i think from my side i need a little more story before i can comment properly.. dont get me wrong i find the best survival games are the ones where you cannot fight back. but what I would like to know is what am i going to be doing? am i just trying to escape, do i have a relative or friend to save? am i trying to stop this pagan thing from happening anymore.. i could probably give a bit more feedback if i knew this.... but the idea is good
i really kinda like the fatal Frame games i meant hey take a lot of getting used to but they really keep me on edge.... plus the concept is appealing to me Thats my opinion anyway
My classic faves are always gonna be the half life games but recently ive been heading towards borderlands and borderlands 2 mainly cos i can play alone and with my friends and still have a really good time (when there not all loot stealing ninja's)
I find that the oldies are the best looking down the doom 3 sort of genre don't forget you've got the good old serious SAM series. and if you really want a challenge try the over sensitive controls and hard to kill enemies of RAGE lol. also you've got the newer titles such as duke nukem forever. dont get me wrong the story isnt great but the game mechanics and general play are good.. And of course the half life series
All depends what you call an fps game if your after a free for all battle type game then battlefield 3 or counter strike (either source or GO they're both the same) but if you want a team play game i would definitely go for borderlands 2..
