I loved Bioshock. I played both bio 1,2 though I have a special place for the first one because they made a game that had high marks for imagination and game play. It was a classic. Using the Bioshock name for a game that is sooooo Un-bioshock stinks of a game developer milking a name for the sake of sales. This game has none of the magic that made bioshock a first class game. They should have just said we went as far as we could or made a game that is still in Rapture being restored to it's former glory but they took the "lets milk a gold mine with as little effort as possible for the sales" and so this is what we got. If they put a little bit of work into making a new game seperate from bioshock and took the time to build on it a good story then I could accept this and I would buy it. I won't buy this game, not at full price because why pay full price for a half engineered game. I'll wait until I can pick it up for half price or lower and play it then but I will not be one of the drone's that are subject to marketing. I guess I"m one of the few that have principals to not be influenced by market hype and brand name shortcuts. That is what this game is. People should take more time considering buying into this because like the movie ind. where they milk popular movies to death I never wanted to see this happen in the game world. We get very little new games now, we get tons of clones that are spun off of popular games so the quality has been going down hill and they are sucking a lot of money for these things. They are really just add on packages that they sell top dollar prices for and not a new game in the classical sense. They used to sell these for half price but now they are really ripping money out of people for games that are not really whole games or new games and are not worth the asking price.
