So I've started playing a few games recently (I.E., Black Ops and Duke Nukem Forever) and they've somehow appeared on my wish list. Well, needless to say, I REALLY don't want them there because I've since stopped playing both games and I don't like either of them. However, being the orgy of glitches that it is, GameSpot isn't giving me the option to delete them.

Here's what intrigues me, however: the other games (games that I actually WANT on my wish list) can be deleted, no problem. But when I select a game I want off the list (namely the ones I've recently played), on the drop-down menu there is no "delete" option. Is anyone else facing this issue?

You don't like the way people stereotype emos but yet you do it to other labels "emo kids end up being 16-22 year old football team jocks who think it's cool to call..."

Yeah and yet you stereotype other people and also label them... Doesn't make sense.

Gaming-Planet

I think you might have misquoted me. What I said was MOST of the people who exhibit this behavior end up being in the same niche, I never put them into a specific category or said they're all the same. That's labeling.

Second, emo kids don't cut themselves - people with serious problems cut themselves.

emo is short for emotionally disturbed isn't it?

Nah, it was really just started by a few hipsters who liked emotional hardcore. A bunch of other people said "me too!" and it just sort of turned into some label that doesn't mean anything.

THANK YOU for saying this, you hit the nail on the head.

Before hinata appears i must say that emo is the music genre and scene is the sub-culture around it. Secondly this is hardly a recent thing, the majority of it disappeared several years ago. Also going to the internet and expecting tolerance or sensitivity is idiotic, the internet does not care who you are and will gladly tell you to go kill yourself simply because you're on it. That being said i agree with what you said about RL but that isn't changing, there are always going to people who make instant judgements and like to put down other people.markop2003
Unfortunately, just about all of what you've said here is entirely true. I'm simply hoping that someone (no matter who it may be) will see the purpose in what I'm saying, because so far, no one has, and I've been saying the same thing for years.

Alright, I'm sick of seeing this everywhere, so here begins my rant.

I've noticed lately that the vast majority of male internet users (usually in their teens or adolescents) are biased towards accusing "emo" kids of being "f@gs" or "dumbasses", and I've seen guys telling guys of the emo culture that they should commit suicide or "go cut" themselves. I'm tired of humanity's sense of zero-tolerance and I want to get this out. First of all, "emo" isn't so much a life choice as it is a music genre or, on some occasions, a fashion culture, or even a hair design, NOT a mentality.

Second, emo kids don't cut themselves - people with serious problems cut themselves. It's as much a coincidence as it seems to be associated with the culture, like most people think. So why is it that we should attack a specific group of people just because they choose to act different or dress different? Being different is what we need more of in the world, because if we were all flawlessly alike I'm sure you wouldn't be very happy in life. To tell the truth, I have several friends who would, to most, be considered "emo" - they're very interesting people who I enjoy talking with a lot, and from the pattern I've noticed, the majority of those who bash emo kids end up being 16-22 year old football team jocks who think it's cool to call something they don't like "g@y" or "retarded".

My point is, try and get to know someone before you call them offensive names or punch them in the face for being different than you. You might find that there's more to be found if you look harder than most people do, instead of trying to be cool by hating on the same thing as they do. The world would be a much cleaner and friendly place if we tried a little harder to coexist, no matter someone's race, beliefs or looks, guaranteed. Rant over, you're free to agree or disagree, go ahead and flame me even, I don't care - but either way, you know the truth.

I wholeheartedly agree with you and I appreciate your sensibility and your altruism but I hope that you feel the same about fat people. They're being persecuted on a daily basis as well.

I do feel the same way about them, as well as I do just about anyone else. I'm fed up with people persecuting others.

You're about 2 years late. No one cares about emos now.jaydough

2 days ago, my friend (whom I spoke of earlier) got attacked by 5 guys and they almost beat him to death. Sounds like they care a LOT.

I listen to quite a bit of Christian music, although I'm not one myself. I listen primarily to Red, As I Lay Dying, Skillet, and The Devil Wears Prada. Yes, they're all Christian.
