Hi,

First of all, I am a Gamespotter. I am a loyal fan and reader of Gamespot. I have been subscribed since 2004 and a member well before that and until recently, I never felt anything but satisfied. As a member of gamespot I would like give my feedback since I feel I owe it to you guys.

I'm not interested in discussing policies, take overs or people leaving. I'm sure that GS is run by professionals who know about these events more than I do. However, as a reader who access this website for everything gaming show my dissatisfaction with the deteriorating production.

Many events, articles, interactive periodics have been stopped one after another (Like Burning Questions one of he last to fall). News are getting in slower. After using GS to get the beaking news on gaming world and even wierd techie news, I'm finding myself clicking less and less on the news tab because I know whats in there and whats going to be in there in the next couple of days. Technical Features also have become scarce. Let alone Hardware Performance Guides "I think they do not serve a great goal since they are only done to top selling games which often require high end PCs". I used to use Game Spot Grudge Tests to build a new PC. The detailed tests multiple game comparisons with focus and all levels of hardware not games. "I beleive that this is a must do at least semi-annually to keep up with all the HW coming out".

I would understand giving special features that consume alot of time to set up and the Technical Features which may be considered a side activity since this is a gaming website. But what about REVIEWS: why is gamespot spending sooo much time reviewing small downloadable games (like 360 Arcade games) and leave blockbusters not reviewed. UT3 took more time that anyone likes to be reviewed. Today, Army of Two Daynasty Warriors, Frontlines and Bully are still not reviewed "1 year ago bster reviews were dropped one day before the game's release or at least the same day".

Gamespot, cards must be shuffeled because you do not lack quality [Yet!]. This gaming castle is crumbling and I would hate to see it turning to a monthy stop for me after visiting daily for almost 4 years.

I hope this is taken as a member feedback who wants nothing but to be proud being a gamespotter.
