Looks like Jess's job is on the chopping block if she is turning to shilling for an EA game. Nice knowing you Jess!

Seriously there is no reason why HOMM cant come out on console. They are turned based, don't require twitchy controls and would work just fine with the buttons and functionality of a controller. I would love to play HOMM 3 on my PS4 console. DO IT UBISOFT!

@mosheste And the saddest part is that if Yakuza 5 was also released here, this piece of crap would still sell more....hence why it got localized.

Its the same problem in Jrpgs, the classier ones don't get localized in favor of the vacuous NIS America cutesy anime ones. "Kim Kardashian" syndrome.

@ArchoNils2 I know right? How many titles have been jumping the Xbox One exclusive ship lately? Dead Rising, Ryse etc. That list will only grow.

@DefconRave It actually sold very well, but not well enough to reach the sales target of Square Enix. It sold 3.4 million copies and that wasn't good sales...in one month? I can think of heaps of publishers that would salivate in selling that many units. So SE had to have been given a huge sum of cash to make it exclusive to the smallest market in the industry. (PC, PS4 and WiiU all have larger install bases) So there is no doubt MS paid them a royal sum.

The wording does imply leeway for it to be a timed exclusive. If that is the case then not being open about that is purely an attempt for MS to use it as a ploy to sell more consoles. That's a pretty lame move on their part if that is the case and only confirms that 360 fans that crossed over to PS4 made the right choice in not trusting Microsoft's business practices. Heck if Tomb Raider is solely an Xbox exclusive now then that also damages both Microsoft and Square Enix's reputation when the IP has been multiplatform up till now with the most recent of releases.

And unless Microsoft and Square Enix know something the rest of the world doesn't and XB1's are about to fly off the shelves and dwarf Sony's sales numbers than they are foolish if they think their combination will be profitable for either of them. I'd say MS must have dropped a truckload of cash on Square Enix's door to make it "always" exclusive on the XB1 platform. And will prove to be a costly decision on Square Enix's part.

Oh well, we shall have to wait and see and chuckle at the coming events. :D

@Jestersmiles @Tranula @theoldgods Once you finish the demo it makes sure to tell you it is only a teaser and is not indicative of the final game...in fact it says the demo is completely separate from the story the actual game will tell. It is only meant to give you a taste of the sounds/atmosphere/scares/puzzles in the main game.

@Sevenizz Sevenizz, some of us have got together and have been moved by your consistently righteous stand against the dishonest practices of games companies, particularly Sony, and we have come up with the best punishment of them all for Sony.

We believe that if you, Sevenizz refuse....(im in tears to even have to type this, it's that sad a thought) if you Sevenizz refuse Sony your purchase of any of their platforms (PS3, PS4, Vita) then that would speak volumes to Sony about how naughty they have been and we believe would ensure Sony goes bankrupt and never gets the chance to lie....ever again!

THE moment you "The Almighty Sevenizz" tell Sony that you are going to do this Sony will melt like the wicked witch of the west in the documentary "Alice in Wonderland".

You are THE hero of our times! God Bless you!

@gameroutlawzz It's a sign that larger games companies today are guided by executives/marketing instead of creative designers/developers.

It's a reason why small indie developers are going so strong.
