Where are all the sports games? Nothing but shooters and RPGs. These are the groundhog days of gaming. Same old thing with no variety or offline options. Take me in a time machine back to the 90s.

@BallOBaseSimmer: Game of the year reviews include not one sports game and mostly shooter or RPG violence. You guys are fan boys for the sick status quo. Except for the usual RPG blood and gore, variety in gaming has been DOA/MIA for close to a decade.

I'll pass. I want good old days console sports games for Xmas. No more violence and death war games. Civilized variety has been missing for a decade. And the cloud is a bust. Gaming is currently in a dystopian era with little choice or options.

What's going on with hardcore fans? Mob sheep lemming fanaticism. That's what. Gaming had its heyday in the late 1990s. It went to shit in 2005 -2006 after everyone was forced online and the last decent sports games came out. Now 90% of the market is dystopian shooters that celebrate a cartoon culture of violence and death as fun pastime. How many of these games can you play before overkill sets in? I miss sports games. Without them, the industry has become saturated by a RPG genre of one trick pony gaming.
