Codies, you had 5 years to work on it! HOW COULD YOU SCREW IT UP! TLDR: The wings fall off mid-flight.
I haven't done one of these in a while, so bear with me as I get my bearings in order...GRID 1, to be known as Race Driver: GRID outside of the US, is a simu-cade racer that defied either designation and instead became i... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
OK, for those who don't want to look at my past reviews and ratings: Burnout Paradise- 8.5; NFS The Run & Shift 2- 3.5; Hot Pursuit- 8.0 Now, for those who have had a brain hemorrage and believe the Shift games are... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Good customization and AI, annoying visual-novel story, lots of unlockables and extras. A Koei game worth the money.
A great game that breaks up the monotony of games in general. Naval warfare with weapons ranging from basics to absurdly large to absurdly imaginative, with strategy in the way of limited slots and hull-weight. Game p... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
In a nutshell, Shift does for ProStreet what Undercover did for Most Wanted (and Carbon for that matter). controls are dodgy, grip is non existent, "assist" help you go sideways when you don't want to, menus are unappeal... Read Full Review3 of 12 users found the following review helpful
Birds of Steel is a sequel to the game IL-2 Sturmovich: Birds of Prey. That IL-2 is at least a spiritual successor to the legendary IL-2 games on PC up to IL-2 1946. I played Birds of Prey a few years ago, and while i... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Oh dear lord, give me.... no, I've been ready for this for a while now. I gave this atrocity a chance about two months after it came out, and after playing Hot Pursuit to the point of capping one level and nearly gett... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
As a racing simulator, Gran Turismo 5 is in a class all its own. If you look past that, however, you see a lot of things that may have started out well enough but in the end fell flat. What? You want more? What else c... Read Full Review6 of 9 users found the following review helpful
Dirt 3 is another game in the Colin McRae/Dirt series, and the best one so far. It is an improvement in almost every way to Dirt 2, and it's the best $60 I've spent in a long time. What's so great about it? Allow me to e... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Here's my primary thought. "Halleluia! It's about time we got a good NFS." Good, not great, but it's a start.
First off, it is a good game. Few have a better all-around feel. That said, it does have issues, some are of the beast's nature, and some are of it's handlers. So with that in mind lets get going. Let me open this wit... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
The Colin McRae experience, expanded and broadened. Amazingly, though, it seems to be very focused and has real depth.
As one who admittedly played both Grid and Dirt 2 first, I was not expecting to fall for this game like I had the aforementioned titles. After all of five races though, I found that I had not moved since I started the fi... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Damn you Activision, no wonder everyone hates you. Tony Hawk fell, Guitar Hero fell, and here's a new game that won't fall because It's already at the bottom. What am I on about? Blur, that's what. Blur has been bille... Read Full Review1 of 11 users found the following review helpful
Well, it's a Midnight Club game, which have been noted by some as harder than it is to quit smoking, Set in Los Angeles, home of the worlds largest traffic jam and most things people just don't care about anymore lacking... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Race Driver: GRID. What is there to say that hasn't been said before. So lets start with the good bits. The collection of cars is great, with a wide range of uses. There are a fair number of tracks, most of which having ... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Incedible game, a must play for any racing fan, especially those rally fans who knew who Colin McRae was.
Let me quickly get my complaints out of the way. Having your idiot camera-view look around for ten seconds uncontrollably after every single damn series gets severely annoying, there isn't a Focus, Skoda, or Citroen to b... Read Full Review1 of 2 users found the following review helpful
At first look, it seemed so familiar. After playing though, it's all too familiar in a different way.
Split/Second is setup to be presented like a TV show and, like most of the TV I watch, is very exciting and cinematicand any other cop-out words you can think of. Oh, alright. I'll do this properly. Split/Second is... Read Full Review2 of 6 users found the following review helpful
Considering that I almost wanted to destroy the original, this one is 10-times better. But it still falls short.
For those who don't want to look at my Juiced review, and considering you would have to look at the game in order to I wouldn't blame you, I gave it a 2.5. It might have been better if it had been broken. So, here is ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Yes it's on the PSP and yes there's no career. but it is GT and it does what people have wanted for years, GT on the go.
OK, ladies and gents, the only real way to distribute the truth of the game is to start listing of pros and cons, THEN adding in the details, so here goes. Pros of GT for PSP: 1. An incredible number of cars, all det... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Bad, bad, bad. Bad AI. Bad physics. Bad voice acting. Bad scoring system. Just an all-round awful game.
