+1 from me

Also when you look at your own posting history and click the topic it used to take you to your last post - letting you continue reading from that point on. Now you just go back to the top of the first page on the discussion and have to scroll back through to find your last post.

I'm using it much less now.

I used to come mainly for the unions, while other main forums I checked are still either missing, or hidden away.

Dropping down to individual game forums they have put all formats together on the same board which just adds to the confusion when people are trying to share views or setup online events but get people from different platforms.

To be honest most of the time I have spent on GS in the last week or so has been checking this forum to see if any progress is being made to fix it.

It doesn't seem like they are making any progress or changes with the forums - large amounts gone and no sign of it coming back. It's a mess, and the level of activity seems to be dropping away fast

It gets worse the deeper you look :(

Following a link in another thread to search older games - LINK

I saw the original Doom, but with a review score of 3.1 - surely that can't be right? Click on it to see the details and see the original PC review gave it 7.3. but because GS also did a review of the Saturn version a couple of years later that is the newest official review score, so that is the one attached to the game image.

I tried searching on DiRT - knowing the PS3 version came out several months later, and sure enough the same confusion over scores exists with that, though less extreme.

I made good use of the old collection section and had built it to over 500 titles - a nice way to quickly sort by platform, title, score etc.

Stacks might be useful for small lists of 10-20 items, but they seem far too clumsy to deal with large lists, and in their current format give no useful info at all.

Games seem to have been merged so there is only one entry regardless of platform. Scores and release date aren't shown in stack view - just an odd looking narrow column of boxart pics :(

The links to the right show the sports board is available - only has 1 post though.

I get the impression from the main forum listing that it's meant to scroll - there is a sub-heading for the sports section, but nothing beneath it. why would you put things like Views and Posts on a heading at the bottom of a listing unless there was meant to be something below it.

Under the old format, just under the game image there were the platform names that allowed you to switch to see the one you wanted. The platform names are still there, and coloured as they were, but not clickable links. Currently there seems to be one location for a game, regardless of how many platforms it is on - makes the forums a mess.

Far too crowded - can't think why they crunched the total number of main forums down to just 9 - and then feel the need to put 10 random threads at the top.

The turnover of posts will mean that useful threads will rapidly disappear.

well this certainly makes it harder for us to complete our union competition...

I guess I missed the announcement (if there was one) that the switch was taking place today?
Congratulations to Redders1989 who takes his fourth win of the season and 2 in a row. The gamble for Webber failed to pay off, but as the only person to pick Lotus their 2/3 finish more than made up for it.SadPSPAddict

I picked Lotus!?!?!? Sure you got the sheet right

oops - yes you did - it threw my eye as I scrolled across and everyone (bar you) had picked Red Bull as their top choice, Redders had Lotus on the second row.

Atleast it made it easy to input the data this round - Red Bull, Mercedes, Toro Rosso, Marussia - that combo was 6/10 entries, and why overall scores were so close together.
