The events that are available to you in Overwatch change as you play - some hang around for quite a few levels, but some disappear.

I tended to activate a 15-20 minute one, play the main game, then flick back to Overwatch to use up any remaining points and usually level up. The 3600xp event was one I would set before finishing for the night and come back to a couple of level ups next time I came on.

Only downside with hitting 50 is no quick refills

I add stuff to my wishlist when I see it and have an interest in it - makes it much easier to remember and find stuff when there is a sale, plus Steam will email me to say something on my list has gone on sale :)

As for the other comments - I've already done a few sales where I've bought loads and still haven't got round to starting a lot of them - and have seen some come back round at an even cheaper price since. So now I try to hold back unless I know I really have the time to play the game soon, otherwise it will just be added to the list.

I can certainly see opinions changing the further you get through career. Early on with weak cars and few upgrades, escaping the cops can be really tough. But later on once you have some tier 3+ cars and the money to upgrade them, escaping becomes more fun than challenging.

My previous post a week ago - if I was up to 60-70k SP I would be looking for the safehouse to bank the points. Now it's more like - just completed a few races and escaped the cops with 150k and looking for another race or chase to make use of the multiplier to get 250k before coming back in.

I've not seen that problem but would go down the route of usual suspects:

Update to the latest drivers for your graphics card

Download / re-install the latest version of DirectX

I was messing about with Overwatch via the site over the last week and hit L50 in no time at all.

To start with you don't have many options - activate the odd bonus down the bottom, but largely focus on the race options down the right side. But once you start getting Repair and Ammo you reach a point where you can almost use just them to increase your level. There are some races you can enter that put you up 2-3 levels at a time because they give so much XP.

Also the more you use each bonus it starts to increase their effectiveness. Keep repairing (or damaging) cars and your bonus increases from 20% to 40% to 60% etc. Same for refilling/stealing ammo - 1/2/3/4. If you just want to pick on randoms then constantly giving them bad things will probably piss them off, so it's up to you if you want to do that or heal them up after.

I don't know if to trust the fact that they are really doing something about this union issue or if they are really letting this be forgotten as time passes.

Where it's not just an instant fix they tend to sticky the topics they intend to address in this part of the forum.

Hmm... no sticky for this topic.

Nevermind - the other things they intend to address get edited into the "Bug and Feedback report"

Oh... not mentioned there either

I'm going down the same route as leon - keep asking until we either get the unions or a definitive "no"

Early on you can take a beating from the cops and it feels like they really have the upper hand. But as you progress, unlock more cars and start upgrading them you will find escaping the cops much easier.

You get a choice of 3 possible speedlists at each level, and can initially only do one of them before progressing to the next level.

Once you reach level 20 you will be able to go back and do the other speedlists to unlock more vehicle skins, or more versions of the cop cars

Core i7 2600K, Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 2GB, 8GB DDR3, Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I'm using the latest drivers 331.82 and it all seems to be running smoothly - no noticeable issues with framerates or stuttering.

Host Migration is a bit of a pain - you can be mid race when the host (elsewhere in the gameworld) leaves and it pulls you all back to a loading screen while it selects a new host. Thankfully that hasn't been happening too frequently.
