Sounds like an electrical problem to me. Might be a problem with the lite in the DS, try playing around with different brightness settings to see if it helps.
Just downloaded this puppy. I get error messages while downloading content but it seems to work fine after you click ok on the message. I'm so glad I got to finally create my avatar and I can't wait to play all the new Avatar games from the arcade. I tried the Demo for A Kingdom for K____s or what ever. It seems pretty addicting so far, I may be picking up some points tomorrow to get the full version to play with friends.
