Will almost certainly get one ... in 2026 when PS5s are readily available.

Excluding handhelds and the current gen ... I've owned some version of every console since the Ps2... except the og Xbox.

I have a decent pc now so the consoles are mostly redundant but I'll still probably wind up with both a Series X and PS5. Will probably skip out on Nintendo from now on.

I enjoyed both Heavenly Sword and DmC, it's a shame they went in this direction.

Cutscenes aren't a problem as long as you can skip them.

I have avoided playing a number of Sony's games for the reasons others have mentioned. Also Rdr2 seems like it's as bad as any Sony game. Alot of Ubisoft's garbage .... I mean games, are filled with the mindless hold stick forward,and things happen "gameplay" design.

Days Gone keeps astounding me with just how little proper gameplay there is for lengthy sessions.

I was legitimately surprised by Control being a proper game when I played it. Fallen Order wasn't too bad either , intro aside.

That Folklore game on PS3, only ever played the demo - I only mention it b/c Nioh 2's soul cores are kinda similar to its primary gameplay mechanic.
