hey guys-first of all thanks for taking the time to reply, really appreciate :) secondly, not meaning to sound like someone stuck on the mac air, but i was basing my opinions on these two videos-MP and SP both being played, and frames, as im sure you'l agree are not bad AT ALL. im checking out the MSI x460DX, bt do get back to me on the air.these guys seem to be running MW2 fine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmy3WhMIfCk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpKlUIQjvM4

Im afraid money is a limitation, thus ruling out a macbook pro. I could always go for a windows laptop but im more comfortable with mac anyday, not to mention the size of the air is perfect for my needs. I know the Air is not a gaming machine, but since i just about want to run those two games, is there something else that could go wrong?

Hey guys,I needed some advice on a new laptop im planning to buy.

My work mostly revolves around writing, so all i need in a new machine is basically MS WORD. I'm also into MW2 and Blops Multiplayer though,

and thus would like to invest in a machine which would be capable of running them as well. What got me hooked to the idea of a 13" Macbook Air

are the speculations of it being able to handle these games at low/medium settings(via bootcamp), good enough for me if I get frames. I like the Air

obviously because of its portability and nothing else, as I have back problems with things too heavy.

I also considered the M11x coz of the gaming angle thing, but i dont like how small the keys are-and obviously the weight is the biggest turn off. It

seems to me the air will let me take care of my backbone problems as well as let me enojy the occasional MW2 online session.

So am I missing something here? Advice would really be appreciated.

I need a new laptop for mobile gaming, I will be travelling around a lot. After dismissing the Asus G74sx because of its weight and bulk, I have finally decided on the Alienware M14x. It looks good, and I need it to run BF3, MW2 and 3, and Blops, which im sure itl be able to-its not bulky and i think il be able to carry it easily. Im getting the 4gb model though, the first one available for configuration on the site.

I wanted to know if im talking the right decision.

Hi Guys

Im looking for something on which I'll be able to play Modern Warfare 2 and 3, Black Ops, Battlefield 3 and the upcoming Diablo 3 with decent visuals without having to suffer any framerate delay. MY only other requirement is that the machine shouldn't be heavy and bulky,as my line of work requires me to run around ALL the time, i plan to pop the laptop in a bag when i do so.,dnt want to be carrying something heavy around all day.Something lightweight.

My budget isnt really fixed, though I have something like 1,700 USD in mind. Id like some good suggestions please.

if your paying like 10 bucks for it then its not a big deal even if you get bored after a while. But the game is truly excellent.

Looks like a breath of fresh air. Good, I was getting sick of all the commercialization. Won't miss this.
