A good story can be achieve in a short manner of time and one can be also presented well with large amount of content to it. It all about good pacing and not having excess of padding or filler, while also not making the characters and story itself shallow and weak.

I don't really have a genre. Back in the day i use to play nothing but crpgs and RTSs. But nowadays I like all types of games, except maybe Sports and realism racing.
@Blabadon: I'm asking for the future because I don't have a budget yet.
$600-$800. $1,200
$720
This statement is very much true. I haven't paid full price for a game in a long long time or at least barely ever do. This isn't talking about sales and price decline, this involves paying not full price on brand new games, day one.
Dota 2 (2500+ hours of playtime, when I am not playing this game)
Deus Ex: MD (Dropped for a bit but I getting back into it again)
Dead Rising 1 (ITS DR on PC!)
Bioshock Remaster (I wanted to replay this, plus lets see how bad this version is)
Uncharted 4 (halfway through, I probably play some more)
Destiny Collection (when it comes out)
