I'm new to this forum and searched for solutions for the issue I'm having. I apologize if the solution is already explained in another forum which I missed. I'm trying to stream video files (mostly high definition mkv files) from my pc to PS3 using Tversity. When I play the video files on PS3, they are always choppy/ stuttering. How can I overcome this? I even tried on some different format files like the MP4 and they give the same trouble. I have a router (N) which can support 150Mbps and USB adapter (N) on my PC which can support up to 150 Mbps. What could possibly be the issue? I've been struggling with this for a longtime but couldn't resolve it. I would appreciate if you experts can jump and help me. Thanks a lot!.jackonpetra
While I cannot speak specificly to problems with Tversity, I've never had much luck with streaming video content wirelessly to the PS3. I have 4 computers set up in my home and all of them are recognized as media servers on my PS3. I get consistantly get choppy playback and random disconnects. Whether or not this is do to wireless interference, a lousy router, or something else I have no idea.
I have since switched to a WIRED network in my home (it was a mess hooking it all up) and no longer have ANY of these issues. Based on this, I think you can probably blame the wireless connection.
