The english voice overs - all - sound like shite.

Damn, hope there is an option to have japanese voiced with sub-titles. This is just off putting and fails to grip me. There is no sense of the moment llistening to the voces, even MGS4 seemed to have better actors.

The *** voice of snake, sounds like that same old deep voice you always hear on anime shows. Atleast to me.

Is it confirmed that Hayter is actually not in the game? Or is Kojima still trolling?

When the Phantom Pain IMDB page was created, Hayter was actually briefly listed on there, as doing the voice for a character named "David". Solid Snakes real name is David. Considering Solid Snake would be like 12 at the time, i am not sure how that would tie into the story.

Theres also the fact that anyone can edit and create IMDB pages, like wikipedia, so its by no means proof. I am still holding my breath on this one. Its 50/50 for me. Kojima loves doing this kind of shit, and has for many years. As far as i know, he still havent directly confirmed or denied if hes in the game, or not.

I grew up with MGS games, and love David Hayter. Also, stuff like him being an actual Metal Gear fan, and saying he would do the role forever if he could. Theres also the fact that he cut his paycheck in half on Twin Snakes, in order to have the cast from MGS1 back just makes me love him even more

I am greatly annoyed by this new interface. It reminds me of Windows 8, and the way everything is being completely stripped down, clearly catering to smartphones. Not a bad idea, just extremly annoying when half the features and buttons seem to be missing. I am sure the features are there somewhere, hidden away so Joe Casual Gamer doesnt get confused, while browsing the CoD section on his iPhone.

The thing i am missing the most, is the way "new games" worked on the old site. You could filter genres, and choose the weeks of the year and see releases. Only reason i ever went on gamespot was for that overview of game releases alone, and occasional laugh you could get at systemwars.

Good. Hopefully they will forget about this shooter nonsense, and return Xcom to the proper turnbased style.

[QUOTE="cain006"]She's probably my second favorite reviewer. The fact that assholes like you feel the need to mock her just because she's transexual make me think maybe she should be throwing in her social commentary in the reviews.Pariah_001

How have I mocked anyone?

Not that i care to get involved, but you called her, "him", even tho.. Forget it. Not going there.

I feel like Nintendo boxed itself in with the first Wii. The N64 and the Cube had lots of great games from various developers. Also multiplats, where the best version available was the Gamecube version.

Now, when i think of Wii games, i only think of the next Mario game, Zelda, Smash Bros, Wii sports games, and a handful of other household Nintendo characters. I dont think of other games. What happended to games like Shadowman, Turok and the awesome remake of Resident Evil 1?

The reason why WoW was so succesful, and still is, is that the feel and combat in the game is really good. You might be bored with it, or have been bored with it years and years ago, or you might not like it because it is essentially a theme park MMO, but the game functions and plays very well. It does not feel like an MMO game, it feels like a third person adventure game. The movement, the interface, and the way animations transition into each other are very well done, and looks smooth. Practically every other MMO you play, are gonna feel extremly clunky and weird, if you come from WoW. The only MMO i had played that were able to keep up with WoW when it comes to gameplay, is Neverwinter Online, unfortunately that  game had alot of other problems.

There has been many good MMOs come out in the past several years, and it has seen a surge of popularity for a few months, but the popularity dies off. In the end, WoW is just better, in all aspects. That is why people are still playing it, and the game is still going strong 8 years later. 8 mill subs is nothing to scoff at. Most MMOs are considered succesful with 200k subs.

Greg Kasavin, i loved his reviews. Very serious and well explained. Especially his Morrowind and Max Payne reviews, even tho they are old, and he does not seem completely comfortable on camera.

Now? That Kevin guy. Forgot his last name. He makes any game thats good, seem like "I have to get this game NOW!"

Took me about 2 hours, only leaving the safe in the basement unopended (As far as i know)

I really liked this game, and would love for more exploration type games of this kind, perhaps with an even bigger emphasis on manipulating objects in the world. The way you explore areas reminds me of LA Noire, which is a game i am also crazy about.

To be fair, a score of 9.5 might be a little generous for a game of this lenght and type. I would give it a solid 8.0, considering what it is. They should have expanded upon the story of Oscar, not necessarily in a supernatural way, but they should have atleast done something with it.
