Just an FYI:

I'm planning on making a GGD Guitar Hero 3 leaderboard thread that encompasses high scores from Wii, PS3 and 360 players. I'm waiting for a few things before doing it, though:

First, the site's editing bug has to get worked out. The thread will be edited often and it will be huge. I can't commit to doing something like this until the forums are stable enough to handle it.

Second, I'm waiting to see how GuitarHero.com handles updates, as that would make it much, much easier to handle updates. (In the previous thread, I had to have everyone on the leaderboard on my friends list.) Hopefully GuitarHero.com stablizes and that can be used as the resource for updating the GGD leaderboard.

Third, I'm looking for at least two others who can help with updates. Any takers?

But yeah, I totally want to make this happen. The Guitar Hero 2 leaderboard was awesome, and with even more players across multiple platforms, it could really be a blast.

We should just be able to create a group on there to keep all our scores in one spot. That would make things way, way easier.

You can turn off the WYSIWYG editor in your forum preferences. The bugs you mentioned are known and reported.

[QUOTE="AlexN"]Then you're REALLY going to hate me because I'm going to start playing it today!bugsonglass

it would be fantastic if you did a blog for it and updated it as you played along, though i'm guessing it's not high profile enough to make it worth your while doing that.

That and I am fully embargoed on talking about it until next week, so no dice. But hey, I'll just say I'm looking forward to playing it. I've heard good things from the people who previewed it.

You know Alex is going to be reviewing this one.King9999

I've got it sitting on my desk right next to Annubis II, just waiting for a free moment so it can unleash its hot fury. And by that, I mean kill me (assuming I can't pawn it off on someone else).

Indy's the toughest match-up of the year, no doubt. I think the Pats can pull that one out, though it'll be a classic squeaker. The Indy offense isn't quite as dominant as it's been in past years, but it's still light years ahead of nearly every other offense out there. The question is whether their defense can hold up against the Pats' three-pronged pass attack and whatever running back they decide to start that week.

Current prediction (barring injuries on either team): Pats 44 - Indy 38

He's got a legit shot. If he keeps up this pace, he'll destroy the record. Granted, I don't think he'll keep up this pace. But I still think he's good for 2-3 TDs for the rest of the season. I just want to see if he can do that while throwing less than 10 picks all year. He's only got 2 thus far.

I love that Miami is just hoarding draft picks at this point, realizing how junky the team has gotten. Still, you can't help but wonder if trading away your two best receivers (Welker, and now Chambers) for more 2nd round picks is really going to help you that much. I'd think locking those two up and getting them a goddamn quarterback might be a better strategy. But what do I know?

Whatevs. Thanks for Welker, Miami. Us Pats fans are eternally grateful. And good to see San Diego actually trying to remedy some of the Norv-ness that's been plaguing that team. Vincent Jackson is NOT a starting WR.

You're actually incorrect. 10 is still a rating a game can get.
