@lostn: But Sony already said yes. They don't own SE or FFXIV or the servers. The only thing that sony can do is stop letting players play FFXIV. Which would be a dumb business move. This is all on Microsoft, t hey already said no to Yoshida back when the game first came out. This time they have to say yes.

@khfreak9: The game is already cross platform between sony and pc. The servers are on Square Enix side. Microsoft already said no for FFXIV being on XBOX 360. This one is on Microsoft.
The funny thing is that this article doesn't mention that Microsoft said no for this game being cross-platform back w hen the game came out. Yoshida talked to Microsoft and said that they didn't want cross-platform because of their policies. This one is on Microsoft. That being said, if Microsoft really wants to deliver a punch to Sony, they need to cross the line and say yes to Yoshida and Square Enix. Not only will it make sony look back, but it'll show that Microsoft isn't all talk about cross-platform. But as of right now neither sony or Microsoft are willing to make that extra step to actually open their servers to one another.
@TwinStripeUK: Well if Microsoft said yes to Yoshida back on the 360, it would of been crossplay between 3 platforms already. Sorry but this one is on Microsoft. Yoshida already talked to them before and they said no.
@YearoftheSnake5 I thought Kevin was gonna review it again and say it was too hard and it ended up with 6/10 DKCTF score, i'll admit i was pretty worried.
