It's not like assassins creed though, its better then assassins creed. Its like the batman arkham games combined with assassins creed. Its not an exact clone of either.
I dont agree at all with the above poster. I will try to say this as politely as possible but i think you just suck. Combat in AC3 was way to easy. It just requires more alertness and reactive timing in this one.
But anyway the combat is more simplified in this, as it was in AC 3 compared to the older AC games. It works fine and I enjoy it. It could be a little more polished but whatever.
I haven't beaten it yet. I've probably played it for 10 hours, barely scratched the story.
This is coming from someone who hated AC 3. Didn't even beat it. I expected to be disappointed with this but a part of me wanted to give it a shot as I used to love the older AC games. Boy was that a good decision. This game is phenomenal so far.
I was faced with the same decision. I went with Black Flag. I was NOT disappointment in the slightest. As someone who hated AC 3 but loved the earlier entries, this was a pleasant surprise.
No amount of delay is going to magically make the Xbox One more powerful. The fact is the PS4 just has more raw power. and from what source did you hear this?
Xbox One has ZERO ambient occulsion and has horrible crushed blacks. At first glance you might think the Xbone looks brighter and more vivid but take a closer look and notice the horrible jaggies and how everything abnormally stands out. The parts where you can see characters standing. The one picture where it shows 2 feet of a soldier with a fire in the background is SO noticeable the difference between xbone and ps4.

I think the point is its not easy to make money in SP without exploiting it. Half the jobs you do dont pay any cash, and if you invest any of it in property the rewards are miniscule. Without exploiting (which I refuse to do) you can spend hours ingame without earning any real cash outside of the big heist missions then the assasination missions (for which you need money anyway!). Regarding wether it will give any advantage, I would say given you buy properties, armour and weapons ingame, having a load more cash, from real cash, will ofc give you an advantage. Its a road I never expected R* to go down, but those xml files indicate they are doing just that. When I say exploits, I dont mean cheating exploits. For example, there are 2 airline companies you can invest in. So you can invest in one and then go to the airport and blow up a bunch of the opposing airlines planes. then the stock of the one you invested in will go up. the game was kinda designed for you to do that. Im pretty sure on the GTAForums this playing one company off against another with guns tactic has been questioned as to whether it works or not.
