I'd like to think another Tales should have made it onto the Gamecube, but Abyss wasn't quite as good as Symphonia in my opinion.

And considering that, if another was in developed, it would likely not make it to the States.

But Symphonia's sequel on Wii is quite pleasantly unexpected, and considering its made by several members of the Symphonia team and running only on a heavily modified Symphonia engine, it should have the potential to be just as good or better.

But in anybody's opinion, Symphonia didn't sell quite as well as Abyss, especially state side (but get this, its actually VERY popular in Quebec) does anybody really think that the team would be willing to risk losing out on the PS2 market possibilities? It was great on the Gamecube, but they didn't make quite as much as on the PS2 games.

Regardless, I absolutely loved Symphonia. It's in my top two RPG's if not the top (Skies of Arcadia still thrills me) on the Gamecube, and absolutely the best of series and among the best of all RPG's ever made.

But what really excites me at this point is Innocence on the DS. It looks amazing, and considering how long its been in development compared to the PSP Tales, it ought to be amazing. Its nice to see that Nintendo isn't forgotten in the RPG market, especially by the Tales teams.

I'm thinking of putting in the extra ten dollars to buy a signed copy of Psychonauts online from the double fine site, mostly because the Canadian Dollar is so high right now...

Anyways, the signed copy includes the option to have Schafer write a personal message on the game box.

Obviously my problem is...

What would one want a living god of gaming to write? The character limit seems to be non-existant, but I have no idea what I would like to have said diety say!

Your creative suggestions?

(If this post contains no spaces, please be angry at gamespot, it is not my fault)

[QUOTE="SolidSnake35"]The biggest flaw is that animals don't go to heaven. I want to know why. :evil:Ravirr

All dogs go to heaven. Haven't you seen the movie?

Those movies were weird..

Who ever said that animals won't make it into heaven? Its simply a dogma that has been formed by years of western Christianity.

The Truth is that as Christians we simply don't know. The 'animals don't have souls' argument is made by Plato, Not the Bible

I don't know about you and your pappy, but my father and I are two different people.

John 10:30

I and the Father are One.

I Don't Know how it can be more direct.

If you'd read the gospel of John, you'll notice that Jesus refered to himself with metafors that were previously in jewish literature only attributed to God in the Old Testament.

Something kind of funny.....Jesus was not originally worshiped as a god, he was just a prophet of god, but eventually his followers voted (I mean this literally) that he was a god, and not just a prophet.

This has happened with many religions over the centuries in which somebody who was originally a prophet becomes worshiped as a god. That is why Islam forbids drawings of Muhammad, he knew it could happen with his religion if he religions was commonly plastered with his image....

An interesting fact, but most Christians don't know their church history well enough to know things like this.....

quiglythegreat

What are you talking about? Jesus clearly claimed that He was God, and nothing was voted into His deity. Back up your claims, huh?

No, he never claimed that, the Council of Nicea was the first time he was called God.

TheCouncilofNiceaonlyconfirmedChristianwritingsintheNiceanCreed.Ittookideasthatwerealreadywidespreadin Christianity and put them into a unifying document. It was NOT as Dan Brown Claims, the First time Christ was called God.

[QUOTE="TallicaFan2005"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="TallicaFan2005"] Well there are like 50,000,000 flaws with christianity, but I'd say the major one is that people believe in it..... damariofan

And yet again....intolerance.

Read my sig, about what the christians did to the Native Americans.. "You have to be white and believe in our god or will rip your freaking heads off and burn you alive!" .... Seriously, talk about intolerance.

That is not what happened. . .also, so what? You're blaming us for what some idiots did hundreds of years ago?

You blame the Jews for killing Jesus 2000 years ago, don't you?I'm not trying to flame, just pointing out a little flaw in your defense.

Jewish people certainly killed Jesus, but NOT THE JEWISH PEOPLE ALIVE TODAY!!!

What? Its the same race, same belief, and some say they'd do the same again, but if given the chance wouldn't we christians let them?

The Crusifixion turned out to be a good thing in the end didn't it?

Anyway WHAT GIVES US THE PLACE TO JUDGE ANYBODY BUT OURSELVES is my point.

That's where you're a bit off, Oph. Judaism and Christianity arenot the same religion. Likewise, they have different beliefs. In fact, Judaism carries around 600 more lawsthan Christianity, just to point some facts. Eg, while Gospel points out that if you're not a christian, you're going to hell, the Jewish core belief is that everyone goes to heaven-if you are good. (According to Judaism any non-Jew who lives according to these laws is regarded as a Righteous Gentile and furthermore only a non-Jew who carefully abides by these laws is assured of a place in the world to come) As cited from here.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that the two are very different.

But One is the fullfillment of the other. I'm speaking of the attitude with which we should approach it.

But Christianity is not about having all the answers, its about the big picture like Judaism is. Part of belief is not having a religion that can be
explained in terms of human thought, but that has spaces that can only be explained by Divinity's thought. What is more appealing? A religion with fully fleshed out details that could easily be man made or a religion that has apparent gaps? In my mind this proves that Christianity is made by God, not man. What 'gaps' there are are left until we take on Perfection in Body and Mind in a renewed creation.

To be very cheesy, remember the Longest Journey? Mystery is important. To know everything, to know the whole truth, is dull. There is no magic in that. Magic is not knowing, magic is wondering about what and how and where. That's probably the best game-related description of the Christianity I can think of.

So I'm leaving the issue to rest, This conversation is not the place and I am part Jewish by the way. I'm saying we should forgive the people for what they did, not hold it against THEM. EVER. But we SHOULD hold OURSELVES accountable for what WE as Christians did in the past.
