I sold my launch day Wii in August of '08 while there was a pretty glaring lack of good new releases. Kept the retail games (around 30) and ended up buying a Black Wii last July. Have bought another 20 retail games since. Lost about $400 worth of VC games (bought most over again) and $200 worth of controllers/cables (again, had to buy over again). First time I ever gave up on a console and in the end it cost me a good $500 in total losses after getting only $300 for my original console with all those VC games, contollers and cables.

I picked up my copy of Prime Trilogy at Best Buy in July of 2010 for $20. It was the last one I ever saw on a shelf in any store. Lucky me, lol.

Nice to see de Blob score an 8. Doesn't do much for Wii since it's not exclusive but the beggars can't afford to be choosy at this point. I'm still hoping that Conduit 2 does well.

Only when he thinks he can "win". Notice that he didn't come back... SMG2 doesn't need silly awards (read: opinions) to be remembered as one of the greats.

I find that it reads best on a 45 degree angle with some books propping it up. Pretty sure it only matters with tray loading systems and even that is more of a risk for scratches on discs than wear on the actual drive.

Sounds like either MicroSUCK or near-bankrupt SonyPlaystation Inc. paid off Entertainment Weekly.

Conspiracy theory set aside, SMG2 is likely to win Wii GOTY but it has some pretty stiff competition on all three consoles.

I got it for XBLA and played it for around three hours the other night. Great memories and I didn't have to take elbows in the face from anyone! Surprised it's not getting a Wii port considering the size. It's easy money for everyone involved, so why not do it?
