Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask Question

How do I solve Evenly Matched 3?

I was bad enough when I needed one pawn in each section, and now I need two. Not only that, the shapes have to be the same shape and size, but can't be a mirrored version. And as usual, the hints do nothing to help. What's even worse is that this is a mandatory puzzle. Until I solve it, I'm not going anywhere plot wise. Please help.
