Sooo... Where do I start?

User Rating: 5 | Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 PC

Pro Evolution Soccer... Oh god, I still remmember back in the early 2000's when this was the most complete football experience that existed, making the EA's Fifa's ashamed of being in the market, believe me, PES was really huge in the Playstation 2 era. So what has this game become? A complete mess.

Gameplay:

I really like physics, I really do... But come one, what the hell is this? The player impact is broken, the ball trajectory feels kinda odd sometimes and the player movement... Oh god it's really bad... But this game has something going for it, it really does, the timing and intensity is all there.

Now let's brakedown how the gameplay is. Each player has different stats, in wich kinda breaks down into how much stamina you have left, and here comes a big problem that this Japanese Developer only nailed it once (PES6), the Stamina management per game. Every player that you have will drain out stamina even standing still, I don't know if it happens to you guys but it kinda did to me. Another broken thing is the passing system that on a Xbox360 controller is broken, since it doesn't follow my order's.

The shooting actually feel's average, since it goes where you want it to go, this is when the physics engine works...

And now here come the most annoying thing that ever happens to a game, the faulting system is shit! Yes, I said this word because it is... Everytime a player of the other team falls you receive an yellow card and if you charge in someone, even from the front and only touching the ball, you get a red card, this is stupid guys. And I will even touch on another problem, when you press Sphere or B you will go to the adversary player, even if you don't aim at him, this is purelly ridicullous!

Graphics:

Like I said before, the physics are broken but this is not the biggest graphical problem. The graphics are acceptable but the player's look ugly, the stadiums are ugly but the crowd is pitch perfect! With this said they nailed the atmosphere of the crowd really well, making it and real spectacle to look at them, now the field and player models are really weak in a rather smooth 60FPS's.

Sound Design:

Like I said, all the crowd effects are awesome, even the sound effects. The soundtrack feel's right and the commentary is well done untill it get's repetitive and boring...

So let's break the scores:

Gameplay: 2 out of 10

Graphics: 4 out of 10

Sound Design: 9 out of 10

Final Score: 5 out of 10

So this is my brief review for Pro Evolution Soccer 2015, it's a weak game showing how much they still need to evolve. And don't think that I am a "Fifa Fanboy" because I'm not and the last thing that I want right now is to have anything in Origin or to buy anything from E.A games since I lost my Origin account, that I invested 100€. Yeah Origin sucks...
