KONAMI offes a gameplay far superior than the EA Sports franchise. Still, the lack of licences may seem annoying to most

"With the renewed gameplay, lots of improvements on defense and a new CPU assist system, PES should be rewarded as the best football simulator on earth".
Ask any Arsenal FC fan if that is accurate and they will blow your nose with their fists, because all of them actually hate to see "North London" as the squad they love. Yes, the lack of licences is still a problem and is a terrible turndown.
But beside this tragic (yet consistent) element, the game is as good as any, and the gameplay is worth the buy, even for those whose home squads are substituted by less fancy ones.
There are a lot of things that help me consider this game is way better than FIFA 12 and believe me, the graphics are not any of them because the engine used for FIFA 12 is really stunning.
It is the gameplay, the look & feel of the pitch, the interaction between the players, the improved AI and, for latin players, the commentators (which happen to be a couple of nasty mexicans that really now how to add some flavor to the match).
Guess I could spend much more time talking about this game but it comes all by itself. If you are a FIFA fan, you should try this one. You can even notice that certain new moves on FIFA feel more natural in PES. If you are a PES fan, you might agree this game is the best yet.
