a great game, even though Pro Cycling Manager 2006 are on the streets
when i couldn't afford the game, i played the Cycling Manager 4demo (the pro Cycling didn't work on my computer) and i loved it, so it were were whith great appeciation when i saw it on sale in a shop. i puchased it and i stared a carrer whith Team CSC, after a while the game got a bit boring, due to not all teams and the UCi Pro tour and Continatal toures where unlicenced, then the game where put away for same time.
then, a day when i were surfing the net, i found a database for it, the Salvoluca 2006 v1, i installed it and alle teams were updated and the Pro tour and so on where there, a new one have later been released.
The Lowdown:
The game are great, good graphics, smooth animations, a comprehensive Carrer Part, where you take the part of a Professional Cycling team manager, you can simulat a race or play it.
The Carrer part:
The carrer part og the game are the main part of the game. You baicilly take control of a Pro cycling team, some teams aren't licensed (team dicovery = Team lost ect.) and one aren't existing any more (Fassa Bortolo) this can be made up by downloading a database. The carrer part are good, there are room for improvement. But it are good whithout a database, but best whith a database. There are the National championships ond the world championchips whith thir respctive Jersys in it as well.
The single race mode;
Here you can race a pre-season classic or one of the tree major tours (the giro, the Tour and the Vuelta) the national championships and the world championships are not in this part. Not as good as the carrer part.
The Multiplayer part
i haven tried this yet, do thu the HUGE part of the carrer mode.
the Summary:
It's hart to do this part.
The game has it drawbacks and it's positive side, i like the game.
