Revelations: POP for the road.

If you are a fan of the prince of persia series get this game. The gameplay is surprisingly unchanged from the coversion to PSP, and controls still remain solid despite the lack of second thumbstick. Revelations is not perfect though. It is a dark game, not only thematically (I personally enjoy the darker theme) , but also visually. It is sometimes hard to see ledges and various areas you need to jump to. It would have been nice if programmers added a brightness option in the menus. Graphics are very detailed for PSP although characters (other than the prince) are in need of a little bit of work. I also noticed that there are a few minor graphical glitches here and there, specifically after running from the dahaka (the screen remains sepia toned) and a trap or two in the beginning that disappear slightly. The only area I found to be a bit sub par was sound. Dialogue is not sycronized with the character models very well, and in some areas music and sound are a bit choppy while loading areas. Overall, this game is a good purchase for any POP fan who wants to take the game on the road. If you don't like the series, don't spend your money on it.
