Here we have Ubisoft's best game since Rayman 2.

User Rating: 8.5 | Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time XBOX
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is a sequel to those old PC games you may remember playing. Sands of Time holds up pretty well to the point of the old Prince of Persia games, which is platforming and puzzles. Sands of Time now has action, platforming, adventure and puzzles. Lots of puzzles.

You assume the role of the Prince. Never really says his real name, he is just called the Prince. You are tricked and release a dangerous plague-like curse called the "Sands of Time." Any person who is touched by these sands turns into a sand monster. The storyline is very deep, and it plays a kind of big role in the game.

Even though you can reverse time, slow time, stop time, see your future, etc. Sands of Time is also a very realstic game. The environments, (except for all the deadly traps set around.) look like a real Persian castle. When the prince jumps, he jumps at a normal height. Prince also can't fall from much over fifteen feet or else he'll die. That can make things frustrating. Also, the combat, just basic sword to sword looks and sounds pretty realistic.

The graphics all look great. The entire game is very detailed and the characters are realistic. The FMV's look great. The only thing keeping it from a ten is that, even though there are no problems with the graphics, they did not really impress me all that much.

The voice acting on other hand is superb. Excellent voice acting is one of the strongest points of the game. The music is all awesome too, along with all the sound effects the game has. It's jsut awesome.

The game isn't really that long, about ten hours or less if you've beaten it before. Even though the game is excellent fun, you won't really go back and play it after you've completed it.
