The thief of bagdad and sinbad aint half as bad....
I'd pick up a stick in the garden and pretend i was running around a palace and performing feats of agility all around palace guards.
It wasnt till i was in my very early teens that i came across something that remotely resembled that experience. It was the Prince of Persia, and it ran on a floppy disk. It was cool. After a short craze the idea soon lost its appeal. The consoles had come in big time!
I vaguely remember one of SEGA's half-baked attempts to launch the game on the Sega Mega CD... wat a crock!
Finally, Ubisoft decided to launch the greatest of the persian prince's reincarnations on the PS2 and someother platforms...
It was one great experience I tell U!
The game literally threw us into this great storybook universe of epic proportions. I mean this game re-defined the word vertigo! I have nothing but praise for every aspect of it... graphics, sound, controls....
