This is a fun game but sometimes a bit overly repetitive.

The first game in the prince of Persia is a fairly good game to play. There is an excellent system for getting through the areas using amazing skills like running along walls, jumping off of walls swinging on poles and many other acrobatic stunts. Unfortunately the combat system is very repetitive so the combat sequences can be some what boring and tedious. The story is quite simple. You are a prince and you are attacking a castle. A man tricks you into letting the sands of time loose from a powerful dagger turning everyone into weird sand zombies. You meet a girl who lived in the castle and she tells you that you have to return the dagger so that the sands of time will return to it. The entire game after this is mainly just you and the girl trying to get return the dagger. Because of the sands of time this game allows you to turn back time when you make a mistake. This makes it so when you fall off of a cliff or die some other way you can usually quickly return to directly before you would have died and try it again. The levels are very nice looking even though this game does not use very advanced graphics. Overall this is a fun game to play and is nice to look at as well although sometimes the repetition can be annoying.
