Wonderful platforming. Everything else is horrible.

Not much to say about this game. Some of the most enjoyable platforming I've played in a while. It takes some timing and thinking unlike your Uncharted just push up, down, left, right until he reaches for the next ledge and press x. Lots of small buffers for you controls so your guy isn't missing jumps for stupid reasons. There are still some annoyances here and there but overall the platforming is by far this game's strength. And Ubisoft got rid of the horrible jumping back off walls that seems to plague every single one of their games. Fantastic!
There are absolutely terrible camera angles. The combat is so easy it's laughable but the only way you'll die, if you do happen to die, is the camera randomly inverting the direction on you.
I haven't played this bland a game in a long time. There is absolutely no story, no characters, no life. It's the same bloody castle the entire game. I laughed out loud when he came to the gardens part and said something like "The Gardens of Persia, one of the wonders of the world, it's more beautiful than I remember." And it was the same grubby castle with a few more vines on the stone walls.
It's been since Tomb Raider or X-blades that I've played a game this depressingly bland. I kept finding myself thinking back to the previous PoP and thinking about how interesting it seemed by comparison... and it wasn't a great game by any means. Also I don't know if you could make a more unlikable main character.
Easy platinum but the trophies all look the same. Have some self respect, at least give the trophies different tints for gold, silver and bronze.
I'm not a big fan of platformers but this game does it right. That being said... I'm not a big fan of platformers, so a horrendously bad game whose only saving grace is outstanding platforming isn't going to score very high with me.
