I loved this game. Prince of Persia Rival Swords was very good in my opinion. The controls take a minute or two to get used to, but once you get the hang of things, your good to go. It reminded me of Tomb Raider with the free running and ledge dropping, but its unique with its own style. It was nice and long, it took me about a week to beat. When I picked it up I couldn't put it down, my curiosity got the best of me. I also like how you must be creative in certain areas. You may think you're at a dead end, but trust me, you have to look everywhere for possible places to climb, or special points of interest. It gets tough sometimes, like with traps, bosses, puzzles and accessible areas especially with the dark prince. The graphics are pretty impressive, comparable to Syphon filter Logan's Shadow actually. If you're an action adventure person this is your game. I think the best part is the combat, from speed kill simulations to just free roam combat. There is a huge amount of combat actions. From jumping on to your enemy, stealing their weapons, impaling them, counterattacking, or using the environment, like running up walls and attacking or swinging from poles and attacking. It was truly a brilliant game.
There are some bad things about the game though. The blasted glitches are probably the worst, or when the prince does not do what you want him to do. Sometimes they get really bad so watch out. The voices and sounds in some of the cutscenes seem to be off sometimes, maybe that is the loading in my psp or something. But it occurred enough to become annoying.
Well, overall I give it a 9 out of 10.
