Great old school game but with some updates.

Gameplay: In Prince of Persia: Classic the story of the game is pretty much the same as the classic Prince of Persia. If you don't then there is pretty much, the is the Sultan MIA, the Grand Vizier, Jaffar, has taken hold of the kingdom. He's imprisoned the fair princess and demanded her hand in marriage. She has 60 minutes to decide -- marry Jaffar or die by his hand. The princess's only hope is her would-be suitor, who's just been imprisoned in the palace dungeon. If the princess is to be saved, you'll need to fight your way out of the dungeon and reach Jaffar before time runs out. It's kind of like 24, only with a more believable plot. You run though the dungen of the palace leaping of traps of all sorts like colapsible floors and spikes coming out of the ground. What is great is not there are checkpoint in almost every level. This is a great help, because it's not always easy to make it through the treacherous pathways of a full level without dying. The combat system is quite intresting but it's kinda hard at times. So you go though four-teen levels and then fight the vizier at the end and save the princess.... if you make it.
Graphics: Well the graphics are the first and most notable change of this classic game. Plus there is even some explotions added to the enviroment. Everything is nicely detailed and colors are well done to suit the atmospher and are well polished out.
Sound: The sound effects are well done well. From the sound of opening gates to the clash of swords........ need I say more?
Value: All in all this is a nice remake of a old game which I used to play when I was a kid. It is pretty much the same plot, gameplay and concept but just updated graphics with a few new features added to it. I would recommend this for people who played the original and just people who just love to play action/ adventure game in general. I give this game 8.5 out of 10.
