An update of the original Prince of Persia
Since this is Classic the story is exactly the same as it was back in 1989. You as Prince of Persia have only one hour to save the Princess from getting married to an evil Jaffar. Your quest goes through a dungeon filled with booby traps. There are cutscenes between missions to move the story further.
Graphics are fully updated based on the style and mood created by Ubisoft Montreal´s Sands of Time trilogy. As a huge fan of the series I consider the graphics to be the star of this game. Sound and music are not as rich as they were in the new console games, because the game tries to emulate the music from the original game. In this task it succeeds pretty well.
Gameplay is almost as you might remember from 1989. You jump from platform to another, avoid traps and do some short and sweet sword fighting along the way. Classic is pretty much about trial and error, since you die very quickly in this game: a booby trap kills you instantly.
This is a perfect opportunity to feel nostalgic about that original Prince of Persia, which started it all.
